Christine is AMAZING!! Our wedding venue had given us the contact for a very popular Worcester bakery for our wedding cake. After reaching out to try and coordinate a tasting and getting the runaround I didn’t feel confident. So I asked if there was another bakery associated with our venue and they had us reach out to Simply Sweet! THANK GOD.

Immediately she scheduled a tasting for us, even on Valentines week. We got there and it’s the cutest little shop and she had a an adorable spread for us to try all the different combinations for our wedding cake! My fiancé had mentioned his love for cannolis and she jumped up and ran out back to get us a sample of the cannoli filling to try! Talk about service. She is personable, listens, takes notes and is so creative! We had a little figure if our dog made to add to it which they did perfectly too!

When I tell you our cake was not only beautiful but DELICIOUS. I’m talking GONE not a crumb left. Not only do I feel it’s rare to have a beautiful AND tasty cake but usually I notice at weddings people are drinking and dancing and the cake goes untouched. Not ours! My aunt asked at the end if there’s was one slice she could take home and there’s wasn’t any! Ordered a custom cake and sent in inspiration pictures not expecting a carbon copy and that’s basically what I got. I was hoping that they would do a little something to make it different as I sent in multiple photos. I received a quote after doing an inquiry online and called to put down a deposit. A few days later I get an email back asking if I wanted to proceed with the order and gave me a different price than what was told to me. I emailed back confirming the original price and that they got my deposit which they confirmed. The day I was set to pick up, their phone lines weren’t working for hours. I sent my ex husband to pick up the cake and they charged him for the second price (more expensive price) despite confirming the quote price twice. The day of my twins party, the cake completely collapsed while I was bringing it to the car. The collapse was NOT from rough handling or driving to fast or anything. That happened literally from carrying the box from my house to my car…approximately 50 feet. Left me with no choice but to go get a grocery store cake before my kids party. Total waste of money.
