Wonderful Cider. Amazing Food. Friendly Staff. Reasonable prices! We were able to purchase 3 drinks, 2 entrees, and 1 appetizer for $65. The Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese & Southwest Egg Rolls were absolutely amazing!!
The food was excellent and the portion sizes were unbelievable!! In a world where you pay almost $20 for half a serving... Boss not only keeps their food at a reasonable price, but I received the largest portion of Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese than I EVER have ANYWHERE else. The chicken was more of a smokey flavor than buffalo, which I liked even more than buffalo anyway! Unfortunately the picture is a little blurry, and I already had about three bites prior to taking it. Safe to say, we did not leave hungry.
Their house made ciders are amazing as well. Highly recommend the Apple Black Cherry. (I'm also a big Michigan Cherry fan, so I'm a little biased). Their non-alcoholic Cider has a wonderful cinnamon taste to it.
If you asked why I gave 5 stars? It's because I couldn't give 6. We...
Read moreWe tried Boss Cider last night for the first time as it was our son's birthday. I thought it was a cute place, and the staff was very nice and welcoming. I ordered two flights of cider so we could all try some different flavors and thought most of them were very good. A couple didn't have much flavor, and taste was a little funny, but over all good. We had burgers, wraps and boneless wings and all had good flavor. I think the chicken was a little over cooked is all. We all thought it was a bit pricey for what you get. None of our meals came with any chips or fries they were extra, and it was pretty pricey at $3.25-3.75 for a very small portion of fries or tots. I can't say I know of any place that doesn't offer chips or fries with your sandwhich/meal, especially when they are $14-$15 each. I would recommend going to taste the cider if...
Read moreTwo stars for the two times a server stopped at our table yesterday. The four of us were promptly greeted and server asked if the QR code was working properly for us. Menu was loading at different speeds among our phones, so we asked for waters while reviewing the menu. We were on a day trip from OH. Server brought waters and asked again about the QR code. Food menu wasn’t loading for us so I asked for WiFi. We finally were able to read drink and food menus. We decided our order and waited for server to return. And waited. Other customers started to fill tables and receive service. I guess if we snooze we lose. Slow annoying QR code and being first-timers must’ve lead to servers forgetting about us. We left and drove to Jackson for...
