Many years ago, about 10 or so, I went to Domino's and was treated so badly that I never went back...until today. I arrived, parked in front of the store and headed in just as another customer drove in and parked next to me. I was looking at the menu and the employee, a very tall, skinny, African American, young man, mumbled something to me which I didn't hear because of the music blaring in the background. The employee then helped the other customer carry his order to his car and when the employee returned he again mumbled something to me that I could not hear. When I said I'm sorry but I didn't understand you he ignored me, grabbed more orders and brought them out to the other customers car. I continued to look at the menu and when the employee returned and mumbled again. I said I can't hear you what did you say and his response was, "You can't park where you are, you need to move!" Now remember, the other vehicle was parked right next to me. At this point I had had enough. I had been ignored, I wasn't able to order, the employee never even said, " I apologize, I'll be with you as soon as I finish helping this gentleman with his order", nothing. All I got was mumbling, blaring music and move your car!! It was rude, unwelcoming and infuriating. I got in my vehicle and went to Amatos across the street where I was greeted with smiles and placed a $50.00 order. Now I know why Domino's parking lot is always empty. Who want's to be treated like that? Extremely unprofessional. As far as the food I wouldn't know if it's good or not. I've not been given the chance to order anything in over 10 yrs. Read moreDomino's Pizza, I am quite disappointed. I walk in to order my food around 8:00pm tonight. I ordered my food and was told that it would be a ten minutes. I paid then I took a seat in the dining area to wait. About ten minutes go by and my name was not called. I didn’t make a fuss; it’s late. I’ve been a closer in a fast food restaurant. I know how it is. But in that time, the two cooks in the back were having a conversation about another person. We’ll call him “Dave”. Per the cooks in the back, Dave was upset that he got fired from his job (not Domino’s) and stating that he was fired because he was black. The two cooks then went onto say and I quote “I’m tired of this.” “That’s bullsh*t.” “Yeah, I know racism exists but it’s not all the time. I’m sick and tired of the victim mentality.” “Yeah man it’s not everyone.”
As I’m sitting there I was debating on whether or not to mention to these people that not only am I sitting in the room and to educate them on intersectionality and micro aggression. I chose to kept quiet in the moment. Ironically, a black man walked in and picked up his order. Meanwhile, it’s been 30 minutes and my name still hasn’t been called. I finally got up to ask about my food and it was sitting in the window the whole time. Needles to my food was cold by the time I got home.
Needless to say that this was not the best foot chosen to be put forward this evening and I can only hope that this behavior be corrected...
Read moreI ordered food from here and often never complained. Last night feb 17th, I ordered 3 pizzas 1 pasta. I received my food, and they messed up my order and sent me Alfredo sauce instead of hearty marinara sauce for my pasta. I called and was sent the right one an hour later. The pizza was dry hardly, no sauce, and was very salty. I have no idea if there training someone or what's going on the quality of food is way down. I dare not order again wasted $35.00. I am done ordering out to many bad experiences. The quality of food is not there. there are no standards. I already called to be blown off. I tried to tell them about quality, and if they keep making pizza the way I got it, they are going to lose customers. They were quick to hang up. I already called the store, and they seemed like they did not care. I ordered pizza from here a lot of times other than a few mess ups like mixing up orders bring wrong food everything was taking care of. The minute I talked about food quality, the store was not responsive. They were quick to hang up. Is there a higher-up to call? I dare not call the store. I don't want to feel the same way I did when I called the first time. I felt like I was in a darker place when I called. I hate talking on phones, that's why I use...
