7.2/10 A great meal for a great price! I'm currently attending a university around the area, and I was hungry for some Indian food. One of my classmates recommended this restaurant for its value and taste. Citing "Some of the best biryani, I've had in the US". But I didn't really trust this guy’s opinion because he doesn't like lamb, pork or fish (Most likely because he's from a vegetarian household). He only likes chicken (Guess what Biryani meat he ordered).
But me being a trusting classmate decided to take up his statement of "Best Biryani I've had since coming to the US" and ordered the non-vegetarian thali deal. And my lord, was it amazing for the price! It came with some curry, appetizer, naan, gulab jamun (albeit only one), a drink (butter milk? didn't like) , and an amazing biryani. The biryani truly stood up to being some of the best biryani in the US. I am originally from Minnesota and the Indian food scene there is lacking to say the least. Nevertheless, Arka Indian cuisine had an amazing deal with some awesome taste.
The curry was good, and the parotta (I think, Indian bread names are confusing) was nice and crispy. The only thing that disappointed me was the singular gulab jamun and the butter milk. The butter milk was understandable I didn't grow up drinking fermented dairy products, so I am unused to it. But ONLY ONE GULAB JAMUN WHAT IS THIS!!!

Decided to try Arka as it just opened. Busy Sat night, looked like they still working out the kinks on everything, but a great sign at how busy it was. I ordered easily online, had a small (5 min) delay at pick up, but they have super comfortable chairs and sofas. Ordered chicken tikki masala and aloo ghobi, garlic naan. Pretty basic order for us, but a good baseline to measure against other restaurants. Mild spice on the chicken, ordered medium on the aloo ghobi. Was all fresh and delicious. Aloo ghobi was a bit past medium spice for me, but lots fresh veggies and not overloaded with potatoes as I have had elsewhere. So, I think it is hard to find Great Indian food but I wanted people who are in search of to know about Bollywood Cafe! This really is where you need to go! The food is amazing and we go at least once a week for lunch, other times we get delivery for about 15 of us but never have been disappointed. I really cannot pick any one dish because everything I try is so good! The owner is very nice and the service is great! You have to try it and you won’t be disappointed, it will quickly become one of your favorite spots too! You know when people talk about a little place that has great food, well you found it, you won't walk in and think amazing Indian atmosphere but you will leave thinking that's the best Indian food...
