Let's be real, this is a place that you need to come to for the food. The decor is just ok, but the food is outstanding! I thought I didn't like chicken mole or tamales because I had never liked them before, but both are delicious here. I'm mildly obsessed with their tamales and order a side of them every time I visit, which currently is weekly. Other dishes I've enjoyed have been the Chicken Enchilada Suizas, the ranchero salad, the chimichangas, and the nachos. The corn chips are fresh and house made, and the salsa is addictive, though my first impression was that it's too runny. Their pico de gallo is also delicious and very fresh, so if you like a thicker salsa, I recommend asking for that. The rice and beans that come with many of the meals are good enough to order on their own, and I normally wouldn't even eat it at other restaurants. From Ixtapa, I order extra so that I've got enough to bring for lunch the next day or so. The flan is also excellent! Very rich and creamy. The prices are reasonable, the portions are generous, and I haven't tried anything I haven't liked, so I highly recommend checking them out the next time you're craving good Mexican food.
