I am writing to share some feedback regarding my recent visit to your Dunkin' Donuts location on Saturday, June 1st. As a regular customer who values the convenience and quality of your services, I was quite surprised and disappointed by an unexpected charge during my last visit.
As a bariatric patient, I have a specific routine when ordering my drinks. I usually get two shots of espresso in a large cup of ice, to which I add my protein shake. This has been my consistent order for some time now, and I have never encountered any additional charges for the cup and ice at any other Dunkin' Donuts locations.
However, during my visit on June 1st, I was informed that there would be an extra charge for the cup and ice. This was quite surprising and disheartening, as it felt like an unnecessary and inconsistent policy compared to my experiences at other Dunkin' Donuts locations. I would understand if the charge applied to an order solely for ice and a cup, but this was not the case.
I wanted to bring this to your attention because I believe it is important for customer experiences to be consistent and fair across all locations. The additional charge, in this instance, felt more like a matter of policy inconsistency rather than a justified cost.
Given my longstanding patronage and appreciation for your products, this experience has led me to consider visiting the new Dunkin' Donuts inside the gas station on Waltham Street instead. It also took over 10 minutes for her to complete orders and there were only 2 people in front of me.
