Such a welcome edition to downtown Lexington! A beautiful upscale gastropub with delicious food. We tried and loved a variety of different dishes including the fried Brussels sprouts, Thai chicken wings, and ahi tuna sandwich. The harvest salad had an amazing fried goat cheese but the salad needed a little more topping. I also had a couple drinks including The Viva Lex Vegas: loved it! A wonderful mix of raspberry vodka, muddled orange, lime, cranberry juice, and sparkling wine. The Bicycle Thief: the campari and grapefruit made it too bitter for my taste. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and is the perfect place for your next evening out.

Beautiful quaint restaurant and bar in downtown Lexington. The drinks were very good, we got dinner, the mac n cheese was my favorite. We also got the wedge salad (phenomenal, love the dried tomatoes and the cheese crisps on it. ), the garlic sandwich (very garlic heavy, but if you like that, it's very good), and the fried chicken sandwich (the cucumbers were a little weird but in a good way. The chicken was very crispy.) The sandwiches came with shoestring fries, very crispy (if you like soft fries, definitely not for you.) Great atmosphere and the waitress gave great suggestions.

Harden’s Restaurant is a true gem in the community! This family-owned establishment offers an inviting ambiance that makes you feel right at home. The food is packed with incredible flavors, and every dish seems crafted with love and care. Their cocktails are outstanding and perfectly complement the meal. Special shoutout to the Mac-n-cheese—but the cheesecake 🤤OMG it's simply divine! Overall, Harden’s Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The town is lovely! Love it!

Just what Lexington needed. The renovation of the old University Cleaners building has been impressive, and the restaurant space completes the transformation. The ambiance at Hardens—dark tones, great music, fun crowd— is sophisticated, local, and welcoming. At wife and I have been 4 times— great for date night, or fun with group a friends. Incredible craft cocktails served by Bill and Jess Harden from the huge (15-seats, I think?) custom bar (the Runnin’ Down a Dream is my favorite) are a highlight. And even with high expectations, the food menu from Chef Matt has consistently impressed. The tuna tostada and wings are favorites from the starter menu, and the smash burger, Korean rice bowl (add steak!), and steak frites are stand-outs on the dinner menu. Get there early, or expect to have a bit of a wait. New patio seating opens up more space outside. Great addition to downtown dining...

While traveling, we decided to try Hardens. Boy was I glad we stopped! We had drinks, followed by dinner. Good selection of beers & wine, lots of options for in-house cocktails. by 6:00 p.m. this small, intimate eatery was packed!

The dinner menu is quite simple, but, oh so delicious! I had the steak & frites - superb! The steak was perfectly cooked. My wife had the steak sandwich, equally delicious and properly prepared. They had a seasonal dessert that sounded so good; sorry I did not splurge and get it.

Go there, probably early, or around 7:00 PM, when seats open up for a 2nd seating. I enjoyed it and will return; I think you'll...
