"Where's the bacon?" - Bacon Egg and cheese was reminiscent of a better McDonald's BE&C perfect egg off the grill, enough cheese to serve, bagel itself didn't speak much. Probably should have gotten it toasted. But the main problem was the two measly strips of bacon; an all too common phenomena these days. Barely any savory/salty came through. Will try a sausage next time.
Got the Italian to go, it's loaded for sure, price reflects this and that's fine. Plenty to take home. The portions are massive and the flavors excellent. I love the menu item names and my favorite so far is the Jersey Devil (Italian). Pretty much 1/2 is a meal and I'm a big guy. I can eat the entire thing in one sitting but cursing myself an hour later that I lost out on another great lunch the next day and I'm too stuffed to move. Read moreThe food is delicious and well portioned. The service, to me, seemed a little bit on the slow side, but it was lunch time. The decor is fun and well done. The only real issue I had was that the table/bar was sticky (probably the wrong kind of cleaner was used) and the chars at the wall counter/bar are small and uncomfortable. I would not say this place is kid/family friendly due to the tables being only 2 seats each and no kids menu. Not that it's a bad thing but just a heads up...
