Finally, the elusive tandoori momos done well. These can be the best version of momos if done well but have been so difficult to find. Little India Express gets them almost spot on.
Tried the chicken and paneer tandoori momos. Ordered via Grabull; the order took nearly 45 mins to be ready, but it was worth the wait. A+ for the filling inside. The cilantro and onion topping, sprinkling of chaat masala, and the lemon/lime wedges provided were all nice touches.
A couple of small critiques (and hence the 4 *s instead of 5): The smoky "tandoori" flavor could have been amped up more. Although the momos had char spots on their skin, the charred flavor wasn't very pronounced. The momos were so red, it appeared that food coloring was used. If so, it is not necessary and would be better done without. Serving the momos on skewers with some charred green peppers and onions would be a nice enhancement.
Aside from that, these totally hit the spot and will 100% satisfy a craving for tandoori momos - and it's much quicker than making them at home so would absolutely...

The tandoori Momos were the highlight because I have never had these even in India, it was really good with the green chutney. Then the regular Momos with jhol was also pretty flavorful but I will be biased towards the tandoori ones. The one that surprised me was the chicken korma curry coz it looked all pale yellow but pretty tasty , had nice aroma of whole spices similar to home cooking and was not exactly the usual oily Americanized Indian curry. Highly recommend this place. Hopefully they keep their...
Read morea few days ago (June 23rd 2021) I ordered hariyalı paneer tikka and this was supposed to be marinated in spinach based creamy sauce and what I was given was a paneer that was made in green food coloring - it was awful tasting and not even cooked in the clay oven. I also ordered a kadai bhindi and this was not cooked properly with the bhindi being raw and again unpalatable. The lachha paratha was not a lachha paratha but just another fat uncooked roti which was doused in ghee. Finally the vegetable noodles has not a single vegetable except a few strands of onion. All in all a terrible meal for the $60 spent. Will never get food from this...
