Decent coffee, unimpressed by management. I’m not one to review products or businesses publicly, but this occasion calls for it because my health was put at risk and I got nothing more than an apology from a barista and an email, which I wrote to and got no response after over a week. To be clear, I do not blame the baristas and hold nothing against them. I have type 1 diabetes (meaning it is autoimmune, and I rely on insulin and constant blood sugar monitoring for control. I came in and ordered drinks for my partner and myself, sugar free for me. Upon drinking mine, I saw an unusual spike in blood sugar. I tested it with my glucometer, lo and behold, it was not sugar free. This is where my gripe comes in. This is a rather serious matter, consuming sugar unexpectedly can wreak havoc on a person with diabetes, especially one who may not have all the monitoring tools that I do. I was able to catch it and correct and felt no real consequence. Granted, it probably would have been a good call for me to test it before I drank it, but it had SF written on the cup so I trusted that it would be sugar free. I called and explained the situation as kindly and gently as possible and the barista was extremely polite and apologetic and gave me the email to reach out to management. I emailed over a week ago and have gotten no response. Usually that wouldn’t bother me, but this is a larger issue that I was calling attention to and the lack of response has not instilled confidence in me that my concern for people like myself is being recognized. I had an amazing experience with this coffee shop. I had some extra time on my hands so I thought it would be perfect timing to enjoy a treat while I did school work. When I first came in they were very welcoming and friendly. They had given me my coffee in a timely manner. The drink was overall amazing and rejuvenating. While getting my drink I sat down and relaxed. Their environment was very comfortable and relaxing. I was able to sit down and work on some assignments. Sitting all around the building which was very easy access. There was also sitting outside which is perfect for a nice day. Even though the place was filled with people, they respected the environment and kept the volume at a normal level. They had some music playing to help block out any other noises that could have been heard. This is overall an amazing place to go when needing a caffeine break, or while needing to get some work done. ...

I’m so excited to see this amazing coffee shop open its third location! It’s always inspiring to watch a small business grow, and what’s even better is that they’ve stayed true to what made them great in the first place. The Lansdowne location brings the same top-notch service, high-quality coffee, and welcoming atmosphere that made me fall in love with their original spot.

The staff here are just as friendly and knowledgeable, and it’s clear they care about creating a positive experience for every customer.
