I've Been Eating At Smokey Joe's Barbecue Restaurant Since I Was A Little kid With My Family I Know That The Original Owner Doesn't Own It Anymore I Met The New Owner And He Is Very Nice All Of The Employees Are Very Friendly I Haven't Been Eating At Smokey Joe's Barbecue Restaurant For A While Now But We Were Hungry So We Decided That We Was Going To Get Something To Eat I Didn't Know That The Other Barbecue Restaurants Were Going To Be Closed For I Guess Vacation And We Were Like Really Hungry So I Mentioned Hey What About Smokey Joe's Let's Go See If They Are Opened Guess What They Were Open For Business So We Go In And The Waitress Says How Many Are You In Your Group We Tell Her Just Two Of Us She Says Grab A Seat It Doesn't Matter Where So We Did She Comes To Ask Us What Would Like To Drink My Husband Always Gets Sweet Tea She Hands Over The Menu And We Ask What Is Good On The Menu She Says The Barbecue Chicken And Barbecue Ribs Are On The Menu And They Are Delicious 😋 So We Ordered Chicken And Ribs And We Ask About Sides She Says We Have Sweet Potato Casserole Dish And Other Sides So We Said Sure Why Not And We Got Some Fries We Didn't Wait Long For Our Food Guys I Was Really Impressed With How Great The Food Tasted The Meat Was So Tender They Fell Right Off The Bone And The Sweet Potato Casserole Dish Reminds Me Of Bridget's Kichen Honestly I Was Ready To Go Back To Eat Again And We Did The Next Few Days We Back For More If You Want To Go Get Something To Eat Stop By Smokey Joe's Barbecue Restaurant And Order Some Chicken And Ribs And If You Don't Mind Even If You Weren't Happy With Your Experience Give A Review About What You Thought About Smokey Joe's Barbecue Restaurant I Would Really Appreciate...

Been me and my husbands go to restaurant since we moved here. Unfortunately today was not a wonderful experience. Im not sure if the staff was just overwhelmed or what but the service was not good. Called in an order for two cheeseburgers "combos" while ordering i did say plate instead of combo. I go to pick up my order and it's a little more price wise then normal no big deal. I check my order and it's two cheeseburgers patties in a box with lettuce tomatoes mayo on the side. So I went back inside the young man at the register ignored me and decided that counting out change was more important than seeing why I was standing there. Once he finally acknowledged me I let him know about the mix up. He then gets frustrated and said "you said plate" one of the waitresses turned and looked at me and said yeah and explained it's a difference. I said I get it but why not clarify that on the phone. I asked him if he could get me 2 buns. He hollers to the back for the buns. They immediately bring them up but the cashier was to focused on the change on the counter to pay attention. I say all of this to say. I have never felt so disrespected in my life especially at an establishment that we visit at least...

Ordered from here for the first time and will not be returning back. I asked the lady on the phone questions about what my order came with and she acted like it was a bother to answer. Picked up my order and had things missing, I proceeded to call up there and tell them and they responded with "well I guess you can come back up here and get them." Come up there and get what I paid for? I think so. Went back up there and got back and it still was not right. After being accused that all of our order was in fact in the bag in front of our face. Called back up there to make them aware they still didnt get our order right and they were rude. Talked to 2 different people and all they said was "okay I'll let him know" Not sure how a business survives off bad customer service, food is alright but seeing these reviews and how the owner responds I dont know how this place...
