Boba Heaven — Restaurant in Leyden Township

Been putting off leaving this review for a LONNNNGGG time, but it’s long overdue. This place is HORRIBLE. H O R R I B L E. Do not waste your time OR money here!!! Drive another couple minutes and spare yourself and your sanity and go to Happy Bobas down the street.

Issue 1: the staff. There is ever only ONE person in there making every single drink and food order AND to-go order. I’ve waited 15+ minutes before just to place an order due to this. Absolutely ridiculous. I’m assuming it’s because the owners don’t want to come out of their pockets too much so they sacrifice the service to save a few bucks.

Issue 2. The one time I went in there, a customer left a 1 star review due to the service I mentioned above (SLOW). I’m in line ready to order and the ONE employee working is on the phone (or should I say FACETIME) with the owner and/or manager while they are completely being disrespectful to the customer who left the bad review, calling them all kinds of cuss words and flipping out. Finally the employee gets off the phone after a good 5 minutes to serve me. While he is in the middle of taking my order the owner and or manager calls back and starts flipping out yet again when the worker tells her that he has a customer, she says that I can hold on and proceeds to talk to him for another five minutes. Completely unprofessional and disturbing. After that weird and unprofessional experience, I told the kid THREE different times what I wanted because he kept confusing my order; after the 3rd time of correcting him - I STILL GOT THE WRONG DRINK 🤣

Issue 3. I’ve been in a few times (probably 10 - all of which has been horrible service, but it’s close to my home so I suffered) and every time I go I order the same drink. Every time it is $8.53 (very high price - I lived in the most expensive part of California and just moved here temporarily 3 months ago and even in California the same boba drink was $6.50) but anyway..I go today and they tell me it’s $11.99….$11.99 for some TEA AND BOBA!!!! Hahahaha that was my last straw at this incompetent place. Absolutely worst boba spot I have ever been to and today (and every other experience) cemented why I will never return. Take some notes from other successful business and boba spots and start...

Okay my peeps came here with the mini me to the new boba place. I chose the vanilla bean, and it is sweeeeet. If you're not a super sweetie person ask for easy easy sugar cuz damn lol. Don't get me wrong its tasty but you need a bit of water afterwards

The mini me chose the watermelon refreshers and it was also sweet. The popping boba wasn't to par with his tastes but live and learn my child 🤷🏼.

Now the place is filled with clouds like everywhere. Now the theme is heaven which is nailed with all the fluffy clouds. Just a little more on the PG side of you know what I mean

The lady here is very nice and sweet. Very customer friendly.

In conclusion for me peeps the reason why for me it's 4 stars is due that this place is a once in a month thing rather than a consistent hang out. If you do come here often please make sure you watch those...

The young, tall guy behind the counter DID NOT know what he was doing.

I told my ordered 3x before he entered it correctly on the register. Yet he still got my order wrong I ordered a Dragonfruit Green Tea with Pineapple Boba. He gave me a milk tea with Pineapple Boba. While making my order he called someone asking for directions on what he was doing. That should have been my first clue something was wrong.

I didn't ask for a refund or complain because there were three customers behind me waiting forever, already looking annoyed for the long wait. I just immediately threw it out, and out almost $8. They shouldn't leave brand new employees by themselves.
