Subway — Restaurant in Leyden Township

Went in there today about 12 o’clock to order me a veggie sandwich as I’m waiting for her to toast my bread. I’m looking at the ingredients and I’m noticing that the pickles and the banana peppers are not fresh. As a matter fact they’re rancid and turning brown. I bring this to the ladies attention And all she tells me is that she opened up the package today I told her regardless of that obviously the package is old and it’s no good and I asked her to bring out some fresh ingredients she refused! I proceeded to ask her to make my sandwich with what I thought were the freshest ingredients which included cucumber, spinach, tomato, onion, and Jardinere peppers. I go home to try to enjoy my sandwich only to learn that the tomatoes are rancid. Some of the spinach is spoiled, and some of the Jardinere peppers are also rincid! Honestly, the quality of food has gone down ever since the new management has taken over the only good thing is that they opened up 24 hours but even still you walk in and it’s a ghost town. You have to wait several minutes for someone to come out and greet you and they just throw your sandwich together. I also want to make an honorable mention of their soup area as it is disgusting I would never ever order soup from the subway. THIS SUBWAY NEEDS TO INSPECTED - I’M SURE IT WOULD BE SHUT DOWN! This subway is the worst I've ever been to. I've had multiple problems with multiple employees. Example: ordering two 6" subs, not allowed to order different sandwiches within the same order...what?! Also, tried to redeem a coupon here, employee told me he wouldn't take it because the employee had to click redeem. There was no barcode or any disclaimer stating the employee had to click redeem. Best thing: it was a timed coupon so I couldn't bring it anywhere else, when I showed the employee the coupon it literally had 1 minute left. Terrible & never going...

I was here about a week ago. As soon as I walked in I noticed the front door was propped open to let some air in as there was no air conditioning. The place must of been 90 degrees. While I was deciding what to order I noticed none of the food was covered and flies were flying all over the sandwhich ingredients. The employee saw the flies landing and did not seemed worried about it. In utter disgust I left. Steer clear of this location unless you love flies...
