I wish i could give this restaurant one star. i used to love this place when it opened but it seems like after Covid, it has gone downhill. every time i go here and have a bad experience, i expect to have a different experience than the last but alas its always the same service, same experience and its not good. i wonât be coming here any longer. the waitress likes to throw your straws, and utensils at you instead of setting them down one by one. not only is the service bad, but the prices of the food have gone up tremendously. today, we had a birthday dinner of five people. not only have they started including the tip on the tab after five or more people, which in my opinion should be after 6 or 7 or more people, but the plates ended up being a total of 167 dollars. i donât think this is a michelin star restaurant for them to be charging almost 200 dollars. i wouldnât be complaining if the service wasnât bad to be honest. however, towards the end of our meal, the waitress came in and asked if we were ready and we said no, weâre not and then she proceeded to say âwell you need to pay now cause weâre closingâ and it gave us the vibe that she was kicking us out. i will not be returning...
Read moreI didn't have a great experience the first time I tried this place and it was even worse the second time I tried and it will be the last time. I'm also a chef and have been to many sushi places all over the country and this one has to be one of the worst so far. The rainbow roll was served with older fish and it wasn't prepared well so that it was falling apart as I picked it up. The only other thing I got was a spicy tuna hand roll and that wasn't prepared well at all either. No care in the presentation and garnish, no proper plating and the rice was quite bland like it wasn't seasoned at all like you're supposed to do with sushi rice. Paid almost $40 with a 13% tip for the great service but the food is quite off the mark. If i'm paying that much for a single roll and a hand roll you better put some tobiko / masago or something on it not just sesame seeds! The iced tea tasted like it was made with pool water and a bit burnt. Three badly made items for $40...super disappointed in this place. I'll just have to make my own sushi...
Read moreHonestly, i love this place. me and my partner come often and the food never disappoints. weâve been to many other ninja or osaka/osaki places and weâve always said that ninja in liberal wouldâve been better. considering itâs just the lady and the small amount of other workers i am pleased everytime i come in here. for me and him together it usually costs around 40-60 bucks each time and we try to tip the best we can. even when itâs super busy or packed everything comes out in a timely manner and good. I know some people might say something about the customer service or her attitude or whatever but i donât mind. iâve worked in good service and it can be frustrating. her composure is decent enough and weâve NEVER had a problem with them. sheâs outstanding working all these tables by herself. I think they deserve...
