Donut Palace — Restaurant in Liberty Hill

This place is great! For starters, they didn’t yell “NEXT??” at me after every selection. Lol! Very laid back and friendly. The donuts and kolaches are delicious. The kolaches were especially good; warm, yeasty bread and a decent amount of sausage. The ham and cheese croissant was perfect. The soft donuts had perfect texture and the old fashioned and cake donuts were slightly crispy around the edges and less crumbly. The place is very clean and well maintained. The atmosphere is homey and they have a huge selection of beverages in their cooler. The digital menu is simple and easy to read. Handicap accessible and plenty of parking. The bathrooms were clean and well lit. Overall, I’m really glad that they are the closest donut shop to me and will be giving them all of my pastry business!...

I gave them a 4 because most of the time they are fast and friendly. However I went there on Christmas eve, my husband and I went through drive through, sat in the drive through for 5 minutes and no one came up. Thought OK maybe they are busy, they were not. We pulled up front and I went in. While they were ringing up my order another lady walked in. Without saying anything to me she stopped ringing me up and helped this person who ordered pick up. I was in front of the register and everything. I felt ignored. They were asked if busy and they said it was slow. I told them I waited at drive-through for 5 minutes and they were just silent no acknowledgement or apology to make me wait. They really need to work on their customer service. I'm gonna wait a long time...

Very dirty place, very terrible service. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese large breakfast thing, however, they gave us a sausage one only. When I brought it up to them they argued that the person who took my order heard the other thing, however, they refused to correct it. Took the one back and threw it away without giving me a refund. Obviously, I was angry, so the owner came over and basically gave me a threatening attitude. They never fixed it.

There are always bees and flies inside of the place flying inside the donut shelves. The place looks never cleaned.

The donuts, when fresh, are pretty good though. Just wish the owner and business actually cared about their customers and...
