Coaches Burger Bar — Restaurant in Liberty Township

My boyfriend and I stopped in last week to try out the food. Wish I could say we were impressed but nope. Service and food were not good. Boyfriend had the patty melt and he didn't like anything about it. It was almost $15 for a sandwich on basic sandwich bread. It was small and flavorless. I got the grilled cheese. Almost $10 for the sandwich with fries. Cheese tasted like plastic so much so I opened up my sandwich convinced the cook left plastic on the cheese slice. I only ate half of my sandwich.

We also ordered a salad. Waitress didn't bring it to us and I had to track her down after waiting 20 minutes for us to get it. She said she didn't think we wanted it first. Who doesn't want their salad first? Or if you are unsure just ask the customer. She dropped our salads off a few minutes later. The salad she told us we were getting had cheese, croutons, onions, and, tomatoes but the one she gave us just had tomatoes, onions, and lettuce on it all for $5.50. I had to get up again because we didn't have utensils to eat with or napkins.

I want to point out that the restaurant had been open 20 minutes when we came in. There was one other person there. We were there for over an hour. We couldn't understand why our food took almost 40 minutes to get. We only got two salads and two sandwiches. The waitress would...

Must try!! We had a party of four looking for lunch while traveling through Ohio on a car trip. By traveling just 3 more minutes off the highway, away from the fast food options, we found this absolute gem after reading other Google reviews. We were greeted promptly, seated in a large, comfortable booth and were immediately impressed with how clean the whole place was. Our server, Helen, was just wonderful!! She was attentive, super knowledgeable about the menu, thought about all the little details before we did and made the whole experience over the top. We got some bone in wings for an appetizer and they were crispy and both the mild and hot sauce were delicious. My son got one of the best chocolate milkshakes he ever had - they are hand-spun. For our meals we ordered the mushroom cheeseburger, two regular cheeseburgers and a bacon cheeseburger salad, with fries and one order of onion rings. Those onion ring(tangles) were THE BEST!! They come with their own unique sauce and are paper thin and lightly breaded. The fresh cut fries were equally amazing and really complimented the perfect burgers, that were nicely seasoned and good quality. My biggest issue was the food. It started with our appetizers. The pretzels were so burnt that it was insanely hard to bite into and we couldn't even eat most of them. Then we got our main courses. I decided to get wings and try them. Mine were still extremely raw. My fiance got the burger and said it was unseasoned and tasted extremely bland. Our service wasn't horrendous she was a very nice lady but eventhough there wasn't many people in the restaurant itself it took her a while to get to us. The person who actually sat us at our table was more attentive to us. On top of that our food did take quite a while to come out even though there were only 3 other tables in there who all already had their food and 1 person at the bar. And even with the food being poor quality we were going to still try to eat what we could since we spent $90 until a whole bunch of flies were continuing to fly all around us because the workers kept going in and out the patio door leaving it completely open to smoke.
