I don't like leaving reviews like this. But I am to prevent other situations like this for future patrons. I had really good food there in the past so food quality is not an issue. On July 3rd I ordered take out via the Toast app. Soon after I made the order my wife told me she was going into labor. I immediately called station square to cancel the order (about 45 min after ordering). The hostess told me "Ok we'll take care of it". So I assumed I'd be refunded. Unfortunately that did not happen. I checked my statement and saw the charge was still there. Charged my card on July 3rd and manually entered July 7th. (See screenshot for proof) I called Wednesday July 23rd to see I could get the matter resolved. The hostess handed me to a woman I assume is a manager. (I will withhold her name for the sake of privacy) I told her I made an order on the 3rd, but had to cancel immediately because my wife went into labor. She proceeded to sound annoyed and accosted me saying "and you waited three weeks for this"? I didn't know how to respond to that at the time. But no, I called 45 minutes later on July 3rd, was told it would be taken care of, and it wasn't. I called when another manager who has the power to handle payment was there. But unfortunately he couldn't help. Didn't find the charge with all the information I gave him to help locate it. And wasn't given a solution to help resolve it. Luckily, I was able to dispute the matter via my credit card to get a refund. Hopefully adjustments are made with communications between staff and costumers. And to the woman manager, I understand people have bad days, I hope your week got better But all in all, I'll eventually eat here again.Station Square makes good food, and they're popular for good reason.

Every now and then I get to treat myself to Station Square in Liberty, Ohio. I’m a firm believer that their steak selections are absolutely delicious. I’ve been eating at Station Square for over 20 years, I have had a bad experience or meal. It’s a family owned restaurant that real takes care of its customers. The menu selections is always on point & has never disappointed. They have amazing Italian pasta, seafood, sandwiches, burgers & steaks. The servers & wait staff is always friendly & polite. I really like the soft, homemade bread that you get with your meal. I like how they always check on you during your meal, making sure you have everything you need & your drinks are always filled. You have a few seating options, the bar, tables or booths. I also love the atmosphere, very relaxing & inviting, this truly adds to an enjoyable dining experience. I can’t say enough about this restaurant, you simply must experience for yourself

My wife and I had an early dinner and chose Station Square. I’m so glad we did. They had 3 specials at $38 each. My wife chose the seafood platter. Her plate had 3 huge scallops, 3 large shrimp, a 6oz lobster tail and a nice portion of fish. Plus a side and soup or salad. She loved it. I had the Linguini Diavalo with clams and shrimp. As you can see the portion was enough for 4 people! It’s like getting 2 dinners for one. I upgraded my salad for the Escarole salad as it’s my favorite I can only find here. The pasta was cooked to perfection with a nice touch of heat in the sauce. It was amazing. Our appetizer was greens and at only $7 no one will touch their price or quality. The only thing that exceeded our food was our server. He was so friendly and attentive but not bothersome. What a gem we have here in the mahoning valley!

My wife and I had an early dinner and chose Station Square. I’m so glad we did. They had 3 specials at $38 each. My wife chose the seafood platter. Never thought I'd give Station Square a 2-star review, but here we are. I had dinner there last week with several people, all Youngstown natives except one. My family and I have gone here for years, the other guests have frequented over the years, and we were all excited for the out of town guest to have a meal here. Service was average at best, our waiter took forever with each task (getting drinks, getting appetizers, taking our order, etc.), and messed up a few of the orders. One guest ordered chicken carbonara and was served chicken cacciatore (this was promptly returned to the kitchen and returned with the correct order that looked like it'd been sitting under a heat lamp). I ordered stuffed mushrooms for my meal and unbeknownst to me, there were two options: one with marinara, one with garlic butter sauce. I wanted the latter, I was served the former. I take partial responsibility for not having read the menu more thoroughly, but the server should've asked for clarification too. Another guest ordered wedding soup -- no greens and someone remarked that it tasted "like Campbell's chicken noodle soup." Another guest ordered fried shrimp and found that it was fried in oil that wasn't hot enough as the breading was soft, not crunchy. Every place has an off night now and again but my recent experiences here have been subpar, and this was finally enough for me to leave a review. In reading others, I can see I'm not alone. Station Square is a staple in this area and I would love to see it around another 30+ years but they need to get back...

Station Square was wonderful in every way - and has always been every time we've ever been there- for years!!!! My friend Deb and I each started with an icy shrimp cocktail, then had tomato - pepper salads followed by filet mignon with Italian greens. We weren't sharing. We just have similar tastes - in just about everything - and we did deviate from the regular menu- the sides we ordered didn't come with the entree so we paid extra but the waitress had no problem and made the switches effortlessly. Our meals were delicious!!!- and, since we ordered so much food, we each had food to take with us for the next day. We did make reservations a few days ahead so we were seated immediately, however, those spur of the moment people who had not made reservations didn't have much of a wait even though people were lined up for tables. I don't think anyone waited longer than 10 minutes even though it was Saturday evening. Our server was excellent: she was at our sides the second either of us wanted something and I don't know how she did it because she had several other much larger tables at the same time!!! I give this restaurant my highest recommendation!!!! I couldn't find a single thing wrong. The restrooms were sparkling clean, plenty of parking, and great atmosphere. All contributed to a...
