McDonald's — Restaurant in Libertyville

I’m having a lot of trouble with 24 hour McDonald’s lately. This one they weren’t talking at the speaker in drive thru, they took like 15 minutes with the guy in front of me, then I finally get to the window the cashier tells me cash only. I could have been to another location in that time. Why don’t they put that on the automatic speaker message. Really frustrating. I’m a restaurant manager and had a busy and late night, it’s 1am and nothing is open. I did t have time to eat at my work so I was just looking for a quick bite on my way home and now I have to, again, make a search for food because nobody can communicate effectively with the guest? Tape a sign to the windows or drive thru speaker. And when I was told, it was just matter of fact, not even apologetic. I HATE making complaints like this as a restaurant manager but this is McDonalds. This is supposed to be the biggest restaurant chain in the world, with money and resources beyond all local and national chains. This shouldn’t be the way it is. And it’s multiple locations. I’m tired after a long day and a McFlurry sounded awesome. Now I gotta find a Taco Bell...

I was ordered 1 quarter pounder meal and a 2 cheese burger meal and a grilled cheese. When I go to pay they tell $35. I pay it not thinking about it then when I pull up to the second window they hand me a huge bag I look inside and see 4 French fries 2 quarter pounders 4 cheese burgers, and 2 grilled cheeses. Then 4 drinks. I tell them I only ordered half of this but they then tell me they messed up my order and accidentally doubled everything. I tell them I'm not paying for food I didn't order but since I already payed for it there was nothing they could do. When I get home with a huge bag of McDonald's I share it with the family then find out the grilled cheeses had hamburger meat in them and the cheese burgers had no condiments or toppings.

If I could a zero star I would this restaurant is unprofessional especially this lady name is Gemma. She is a scammer I came in to apply and she took o tires of my I.D and social security card and said she can’t hire me excuse me I have no problem with finding work I’m legal in the United States. I never experienced something like this I feel like she took pictures of my identity for her own convenience and that not right. But I contacted the social security office because I wasn’t trusting what this lady Gemma did.
