McDonald's — Restaurant in Libertyville

By far my worst McDonalds experience. I was beyond disappointed with the service provided to me at my visit, and I can guarantee I will not be returning, Having already eaten, my friends and I opted to order a small meal of 4pcs without fries or a soda; instead, we asked for 3 cups of water to wash our food down with. The ginger-haired woman at the counter fixed us with a glare so full of suspicion and distaste that I can only imagine it’s due to my racial background as a half-black, half-Indian mixed woman. She went around to the back to get three cups of ‘water’ for us. In actuality, she got us three cups of what was essentially 90% ice. Disappointed with the saturation of ice in my drink, I dumped it out into the drain by the soda fountain and returned to my seat. Upon returning, I was accosted by the same employee as before. She accused us of stealing soda from the fountain, claiming that we ‘just didn’t want to pay.’ This accusation was completely baseless- as a reminder, I hadn’t even refilled my drink at the fountain at all, much less with soda! I showed her my empty cup and she continued to harp at us regardless, accusing all three of us before storming back to the counter. They never seem to understand what you're saying when you order via the drive-thru here. Man or woman, morning or afternoon, they don't understand what you're saying. I also had an incident where I found a long brown hair in my breakfast sandwich after I had eaten it halfway through. Called and complained and was told I would receive a free breakfast sandwich the next day in compensation which, to me, wasn't a very grand gesture in way of compensation. I mean ...ummm I was served a hairy sandwich before starting a 10 hour work day and was terribly hungry that morning, but I digress. I arrive the next morning and go inside and ask for the manager who I supposedly spoke to the day before. A lady comes to the counter and says she doesn't know what I'm talking about. I proceed to have to explain my story three more times before I received my free sandwich that was given to me because I was starting to get snippy. I'm sorry but I do believe most McDonald's have some of the worst customer service on the planet. If the place starts being operated by machines so be it, at least your order...

Went to this store to get out of the cold from riding our motorcycle, use the washroom, and get dinner with my lady. Walk up to the door; locked. Walked to another door; locked. Look inside and a staff member is eating and pretending they don't see us. The hours on the door said they should be open. There was no signage indicating that the dining room was closed. We got back on the motorcycle and rode into the drive thru and asked if we could come inside to eat. We were then informed the dining room was closed. I understand the staffing issues our country is facing, however this store would not have had to utilize extra manpower than was already working to allow us to eat inside.
