It's pretty obvious that much of a five-star reviews are from family and friends on opening day and not representative of the actual dining experience. The dining experience was poor given the cleanliness of the space. There was garbage all over the ground, even fingerprint ketchup stains on the ketchup bottle... The tables and chairs are clearly outdated, the first table I sat on near the window had uneven feet and rocks back and forth, makes you question how much effort is being put into the restaurant given it just opened not even one month ago. If you think I'm being too critical, I invite you to just go in there and take a look around.
The burgers came out fresh and were hot however they were nothing special. I would say all the burgers are one to two dollars overpriced. Also the fries were straight cold lol. No one even bothered to microwave them.
A place like this can only exist in libertyville, given that there is literally no other halal Burger competition.
Whole establishment feels like a low effort cash grab, once again capitalizing on the lack of halal burger restaurants in the area.
I only mean this as constructive criticism, honestly really want this...

This local gem serves up phenomenal smash burgers that are crisped to perfection on the edges and dripping with juicy, flavorful goodness in the middle. Each bite feels like the burger gods themselves gave it a sear. Whether you go classic or deck it out with wild toppings, there’s not a bad choice on the menu.
And don’t even get me started on the fries—world class is no exaggeration. Crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned, they’re the kind of fries that make you pause mid-bite and say, “Wow.” You’ll be thinking about them long after you’ve finished your meal.
But what really seals the deal is the service—genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. It’s the kind of place where they remember your order, your name, and make you feel like you’re part of something special.
In a world of drive-thru disappointments, Meat N Melt is a one-of-a-kind experience. Skip the golden arches next door—this is where the real...

Bit of a quirky first impression with the covers on the chairs—felt a little out of place—but honestly, that’s easy to look past once the food comes out.
We tried the salty smash fries and the melty smash burger—both were really solid. Great flavors, super satisfying. You can tell they care about what they’re putting out.
The staff here are genuinely friendly and welcoming. This spot used to be a pizza place, and you can tell they’ve reused a lot of the original decor. It’s nothing fancy inside—some scratches on the walls, a bit plain—but it’s clean and comfortable enough. Definitely not a dealbreaker.
Overall, the food is genuinely good, the service is great, and the people behind it all seem to be giving it their best. The vibe is simple, but it’s the kind of place...
