Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken — Restaurant in Lima

I have been coming to this Lee's since I was a little kid. My grandma loved it, my family loved it. Quality has always been there, prices were reasonable, and customer service WAS top tier. After a few times of going through the automated drive through this year, I noticed the prices are sky high and portions smaller. Understandable. I kinda gave it the benefit of the doubt. But today my kids and I went for a 12 piece family strip meal. 40 dollars, and the receipt showed 4 sauces. Even after asking the automated robot for honey, butter, silverware and plates, I received none. Again, busy sunday, so even though no one was in line or even parked in the parking lot, I thought no biggie we can dip the biscuits in gravy instead. Lo and behold I get home and they threw the gravy in sideways on top of all my other sides... 40 dollars for cool, soggy chicken, dry biscuits with no honey or gravy, and a giant puddle of all the gravy all over my other sides !! It was a giant mess to clean up and as a busy blue collar single mom , I dont appreciate my stuff being thrown in my bag willy nilly. You dont even have to pay someone to take my order now. I and a coworker are in Lima OH for work, from Texas. We hesitated coming here, because the online reviews are not great. Boy, we would have missed out. The food here was freaking excellent!! And that's not an overstatement. I got a 4-piece dark spicy, with mash potatoes with gravy, a biscuit, and coleslaw. The fried chicken was one of the best I've had. My coworker and I agreed that on a scale of 1-10, it was a 9.5. The chicken was super juicy with a great taste and texture. I normally eat my fried chicken with ketchup and hot sauce. The chicken was so good - you don't need any. I had it with no ketchup or hot sauce. We also got a gallon of their sweet tea, and it was good as well. We plan to come back...

Came through tonight after not being able to ¹qplace an order on the app. Ordered two dinners and a side or Mac and cheese and a side of coleslaw. Guess what i didnt get but paid for, my sides.

Plus ordered two extra cups of BBQ, got bonsai sauce. I mean the food I got was good, but this is why I hadn't came back in almost two years, order stuff and dont get it.

Of course, as I gave guy st the window my card he wandered off to look at something, then almost forgot to run my card. I mean, not so mad about that part, just focus, man. But maybe I'll come back again in the future, was super bummed when you're looking forward to something, that you pay for, and dont get it. Great end to...
