My family and I spent the whole day at our sons playoff game that his team lost in the wind and cold, we chose to eat dinner at EL PASO Mexican Restaurant in Limon, CO and the minute we entered the restaurant we felt relaxed and free from the stresses the day had brought! We were served fresh warm homemade chips and salsa and our drink orders taken right after our waiter was extremely tentative! They have a large menu with so much to choose from! Our waiter was very informative when asked about certain items on the menu. After we ordered our waiter refilled our chips and salsa along with our drinks. They got our food out to us within ten to fifteen minutes. Right as we began to pray, our waiter was just approaching with our orders and he paused and allowed us to finish praying before he set the rest of our food down. Their presentation of the food was so perfectly presented everything looked delicious and it smelled so authentic and tastes authentic! The portions are very generous you definitely get what you pay for! I feel my family and I have found our favorite place to eat, and although it’s over an hour drive from where we live we would make the trip just to eat here again! You won’t be...

We were seated within 10-15 seconds of walking in. Immediately, chips and salsa were served, and another minute drinks were ordered. Chips were crispy and the salsa had a good flavor.
Both of us visited the restroom before eating and they were both in a well maintained state of cleanliness. Clean bathroom = Clean restaurant.
Since this was our first time here, we browsed the menu and made our selection. Our head waiter was patient, pleasant and polite the entire time.
We had a Taco Salad with shrimp and a Quesadilla El Pastor with pork meat. Both meals were delicious.
We also had a huge serving of Flan. Absolutely delicious. Actually, this serving is much larger than other Mexican restaurants we’ve been to eat.
Overall, we both agree that the El Paso Mexican Restaurant is a must visit place. It’s relatively easy to find once you’ve turned off I-80. Kudos to...
Read moreWe usually ride through Limon and heard about this place being new and great from a local there. We love Mexican food so we made a special ride up just to try it. Place is really clean, friendly staff, decent pricing. We were, however, disappointed in the food. There's no green chili here. Just red or green "sauce". Unfortunately the salsa and red sauce are heavy on the tomato paste. The paste is so overpowering it was like eating a spaghetti sauce smothered chili relleno. Even the salsa tasted like Spaghetti-O's sauce after a couple dips. My boyfriend said the ground beef in his burrito was unseasoned and dry. The beans appear to be from a dehydrated bag. They were dark gray and super pureed which is why I think they were from a bag and not smashed in house. Overall, not a place we'd recommend to anyone...
