Have been going through the drive thru hoping my experience would be different. Every time I go through its late and either 30mins-10mins before they close due to my job. Every experience I was told kitchen is close only serving ice-cream. I spoke to the GM a few days later on my next day off. I was told they service food all the way till close and that she will be talking to her staff about it. Few weeks go by and I try again. Same thing kitchen is close only serving ice-cream. Made me mad but I let it go that time. Went last week and didn't realize they changed hours from 10:30p to 10p and I arrived at 10:02p let that go since yes google can be wrong on hours and they had it on their door sign. Went tonight and met with the same rude attitude Sorry kitchen is close only serving ice-cream. This time I spoke up and told them I've talked to the GM once before and she let me know that's a lie. The manager on duty just kept repeating the same thing so I ask for a name and he responded with pull to the window please, so I did. Got to the window and was met with the same rude attitude and same thing Kitchen is close so either order ice-cream or leave. He then slammed the window on me and then came back realizing I havent left. I asked for his name and he responded with leave or I'm calling the cops in a rude attitude. Very bad service and I hate going there but it's the only closes location to my house unless i wanna drive in the opposite direction. I will be stopping in tomorrow to speak with the GM once again and will be reaching out to corporate as well about this. If they have cameras you can see how aggressive and rude the person was while I stayed calm the entire time. All he was worried about was getting off the clock right at closing to go...
Read moreTonight 6/17/16 was the first and last time I will go to this Dairy Queen. My husband and I ordered a small chocolate, heath, cappuccino blizzard. After repeating my order twice because the machine needs fixing, the assistant manager informed me that they can't add cappuccino to the order because their district rep had told them they can't add coffee to the blizzard because they "make their own coffee" now. Who knew???!!! Anyway, I told him that two nights ago I had ordered the same blizzard at the South 16th DQ. He just repeated the same song and dance that he had been programmed to say. Blah, blah, blah, we can't make that... I then asked if I could have the corporate complaint line. He then said he wasn't allowed to give out his managers personal number. I informed him that I wasn't asking for his managers number. And again repeated that I wanted the corporate number. He then told me he couldn't give me the owner's number. SMH I have to say that he did give me the store number. Not sure what that will do. Once we got home I decided to call the South 16th store to confirm whether corporate had indeed sent down the message that cappuccino could no longer be used in the blizzard. As I figured, they have not heard of any policy change. I definitely will take the time to drive the extra miles to the South...

Ordered a large hot fudge sundae with pecans. Due to the weather they didn't hear the hot fudge part. When they handed me a large pecan sundae I informed them of the mistake. They in turn informed me it wasn't a mistake and didn't attempt to fix it until I asked two employees if it was an either or option.
Both didn't answer the question giving the impression they wanted to tell me yes. The second employee eventually took the large sundae without hot fudge back and instead of just putting hot fudge on that he remade it as a small sundae with hot fudge and pecans. I called their attention to the size and the girl who handed it to me informed me that was in fact a large sundae in tone that clearly meant take it or leave it.
