Waitress came and took our order. Had someone with her. Maybe in training but nothing was said.

Told waitress separate tab for my friend and I.

Ordered the patty melt on marbled rye with sweet potato tots from choices above the Burger section. Only glances at options & chose the tots.

I felt deceived when I received the bill! I was charged half of my friends cheese curds. I didn't order or tell waitress to split the curds. Then saw I was charged for the sweet potato tots.

Let the waitress know about the curds and asked why I was charged for a side as well. She said the options above the item says $2.00 if I read it. Well I was looking for side options on top of burger choice and didn't pay attention to an additional fee when side options were way down on bottom left.

That is on my bit I didn't realize I had to actually look for a price on something that looked to be the option on top of my selection vs way on the bottom for my actual choice. I felt deceived as my friend with me read the menu options the same way I did.

I told waitress and she didn't let me finish when I told her half the curds fee didn't belong on my tab. She started to rush away, I said hold on there. Then asked her about the side fee. That's when she said the one on top explanation.

A little kind advice. When people separate tabs, ask if the appetiser is to be split too.

Our tickets were fixed but she seemed to have an attitude after that. Why? I have a right to ask about my bill! It's my money I'm choosing to spend. I want my truck ticket right as well...

My sister, niece and myself went to Big Red on Monday, August 15th, hopefully to have a nice dinner. Someone had recommended the steaks there. I wish I could remember who recommended, I would sure call them on it. The light nearest our table was burned out so it was almost totally dark in our booth. A young man came in looking for his keys that he had left at our table and we literally had to feel around to help him find them. My niece and I ordered the New York Strip steak, price $17. My sister ordered the fantail shrimp at $12. something. Our steaks were perfectly cooked but they had so much gristle that you couldn't eat them. We both tried cutting around the gristle but still got very little meat. My sisters shrimp was burned almost black! I sent her shrimp back because she didn't want to say anything. Total bill with tip was $64. I really felt bad as my sister and niece were visiting from San Diego and we went to Big Red at my suggestion. NEVER AGAIN!!!! The only reason I am giving this even one star is because the little waitress really tried hard and was embarrassed by our dinners. Who ever owns this joint needs to find a new meat supplier that actually cuts the steaks for them and get rid of whoever is cooking. No decent cook would ever send shrimp out overcooked and would look a little more carefully at the raw steak prior to cooking. A waste of time...

I'm not one to write reviews hardly ever. But I'm very disgusted and disappointed with Big Red Keno West after dinner tonight. We went to grab some food and watch the basketball game. We were seated in a booth. I got up to go play some keno and I felt something wet on my leg right behind my knee/thigh. My first mistake was touching it, I thought maybe it was food that I could have sat in. I went to the bathroom to clean the yellowish brown substance off of my pants. Yall, I could smell it, it was literal poop. (Yes i thoroughly washed my hands several times.) There was actual poop on the seat of the booth. Of course by the time I got back to the booth I had seen that it was just a smudge left at that point. I ended up sitting on the other side with my friend. I didn't even want to eat but I hadn't eaten all day and was starving. I told both the waitress and the manager about it and all I got was a simple sorry. That's cool, whatever, but do you understand how many illness and diseases and God knows what else can be carried in POOP?! I really really tried to give this place another shot after being stalked by a customer from there one night but I don't think I'll be returning. Absolutely disgusting. 🤮🤮🤮
