Placed order in drive-through. Was not provided a receipt after ordering. Was told to go park "behind" a white van. Followed those exact directions. Waited for 25 minutes when I saw a white SUV park directly in front of me. A guy came out and handed them a large order. I got out and I know I was already frustrated but did not yell and told the guy, we had been waiting for 25 minutes and asked how is it that the SUV just pulled away from the drive-through and received their order within 5 minutes? His response was that there's nothing he can do about that. I told him if that's the case, then I would just like a refund. He asked me what I ordered and he'll check and I said, no, I just want a refund at this point. He walked in ahead of me and said "whatever". I asked him who his manager was and he said I'm the manager and as I walked up to the counter, there were 2 other staff there. They asked what the problem was and I said I just want a refund and a lady claiming to be the manager instantly said, we don't give refunds. I said then I need my order and then I was asked if I had a receipt and what I ordered and I said that they did not provide me a receipt but explained to them what we ordered. I was told that I could not get a refund and that they did not have an order for me. At this point, I was now well, pretty angry. I said either you give me a refund or you give me what I paid for and the lady told me that I need to stop getting angry. I said, oh no, you've experienced me being as nice as could possibly be under the circumstances and now I'm going to get angry. It took me getting way more upset, cussing and threatening to call the police if they didn't either give me what I paid for or a refund and at that point, a young man provided me with an order, which was not even our order. The place was very poorly run and needs managers who know what they are doing and all it would have required from the beginning with the guy who also claimed to the manager was instead of telling me "there's nothing I can do about that" was to change that to "I'm sorry you've been waiting so long, what did you order and I...
Read moreHorrible staff and management! I am so disappointed in this establishment. I went to get food for my family of 6 ($70+). After paying at the drive thru window they asked me to pull forward. I didn’t mind as I was not in a rush and was happy I’d get hot/fresh food. It was a nice night so I had my window open while waiting. So I heard when an employee came out the door and turned to see if it was my order. The employee stepped off of the curb, turned around and hawked a big loogie (spit) back towards the building. WHILE he was carrying a food order. I was disgusted. I went in to mention it. The team leader took my name and number and said she would have the general manager call me the next day. Well that never happened. So I called back a few days later. The general manager told me that nothing was written in her book. That the gal who took my info had never wrote it in her book and had since been let go (for other reasons). She said she didn’t know the details. In the next sentence she went in to say, “oh, the spitting incident, that employee was reprimanded”. Which was odd since she said nothing was written down and she didn’t know any details. She then bluntly asked what I wanted? I asked if I could get reimbursed or a coupon or something. She said she could not do anything for me. I expressed my disappointment and she repeated herself while adding in “baby”??? I told her not to call me that as that was very rude and unprofessional. She hung up on me. I tried to call corporate, but you don’t actually get to speak with a real person. They give you the option to have someone text you. Obviously a chat bot. After getting only so far they finally switched to a real person texting. She was at least appalled for me and did what she could. Which was very little. They gave a $5 credit to the app and told she would pass all of this along to corporate. I asked if I could get a phone call but was told they don’t do that. Read moreSo my original review is below this one....years ago....I saw amazing improvement at this location....but now, what a disaster. Younger lady that took our order, Barbara, had this attitude the entire time taking our order. Takes our name for the order. Then we sit there.....and sit there. After about 8 times of here is your order....uh, that is not our order. Come on folks, you have our name on the order, how can you really not know who ordered what? That is the point of taking the names right? But then the entire time we are waiting, one staff member without gloves on keeps touching his abdominal area....and just goes back to working again. After the final here is your order.....yeah, that is not even close to what we ordered, we had to ask for a refund. By that time....it seemed like some staff family members were there just conserving at the counter with their kids running in and out. We just asked for a refund and went down to professionally ran Runza. I am sure this is a lower paying job so getting employees that really care much is probably a challenge....but they need to do something to make this a better experience for customers. This was a horrible experience in far from ideal air conditioning. Better wages get better employees....and air conditioning helps keep customers and employees happy working there.
On top of all that....Gent that I assume was the manager acted like we were out of line for asking for a refund. "Why?"....uh, honestly, come on, you know why.
Original review two years ago: I have seen great improvement in this location. It used to be a fairly consistent order was wrong or some issue. Pretty sure staff changes took care of those issues. Been a while since I had an order messed up now. Staff are very prompt to acknowledge you and take your order. They smile also. But the chicken is always great no matter what!
