I have never personally ate here, but I had heard nothing but good reviews so I decided to give it a shot. I placed an order over the phone for pick up (they don't deliver, not an issue). The woman who took the order was very polite, she repeated the order back to me to which I confirmed was correct. I arrived to pick up my order, paid, and left. I got home and realized that they had not given me my Teriyaki as well the Orange Chicken I had ordered had not met my expectations. I called back and made them aware that I was missing my Teriyaki, they told me I could come back for it. I also confirmed that the orange chicken was properly prepared and she confirmed it was but I wanted to exchange it. Let me be clear that the Orange Chicken was not the issue, if I had received my complete order I would've over looked the chicken and have known better for future orders. They asked me to bring back the Orange Chicken, so I did. They told me it was only $1 difference to exchange it for what I wanted instead but when I got there they charged my $3.70. The amount I was being charged is not the issue, it's the principle. The "manager" argued with me that she was sure she included my Teriyaki and why did I not bring back the full order so she could verify. I had to drive back to the restaurant and while my kids ate only a portion of their dinner before it got cold. The employees left me standing their with my food for approximately ten minutes before actually taking my payment. The manager kept the Orange Chicken I returned (hopefully she didn't reuse it). Bottom line, the service was terrible. I would have paid whatever amount the difference was for my replacement, I also would've went back to pick up my Teriyaki with no questions if they had just been more courteous. The food was delicious but their service was terrible and the service makes the entire experience. As a manager, she had no professionalism. I will not...
Read moreI visited the Dragon Villa restaurant in Lincoln RI today with some friends. I’m actually sitting here writing this review. I Ordered a lunch plate of fried rice, shrimp with lobster sauce, and an egg roll, with a side of boneless spareribs. As I was eating my rice, I felt a funny object in my mouth, it was a 6”gray piece of human hair, I spit it out immediately. I didn’t order hair with my plate. I told the waitress who nonchalantly asked me did I want another plate, without a care in the world. Only a fool would eat another plate in that dirty establishment. I told her absolutely not. I asked another worker who the owner was, he said her name was Sue. I asked him may I please speak to her, he said she’s never here. Maybe that’s why this establishment and service is the bottom of the barrel. I never received an apology from these people or anything, to rectify me chewing a long piece of gray hair in my food. I know how to rectify this situation Sue, tell your damn cooks to wear a hair net or a hat in the kitchen when cooking food. I was thinking maybe the hair was a blessing in disguise, keeping me from eating that nasty food, I’d probably would be sick as a dog right now, throwing up and running to the bathroom. I would love to see what that kitchen looks like, that would tell the whole story. I would never step foot in this filthy dirty establishment again. Sue you don’t need to own a restaurant, if you don’t care what comes out of your kitchen, or the service your guests receive when dining. Close this place or sell it to someone who cares. Sue I hope you sleep well at night, because if I had eaten your food, I’m sure I...
Read moreI have been ordering takeout from this place at LEAST ONCE A WEEK for OVER A YEAR, and have had "decent" service, but not the best. Food is good, usually, but when I picked up my order this evening and got it home, it was wrong. Okay, nobody's perfect, so I called and explained the problem. I was told to just come back and pick up the soup that WAS ordered, so I did. EXCEPT, when I arrived, I was told I had to pay for it. WHY? I was told it wasn't on the slip. So? I ORDERED IT MYSELF just as I've done 50-60 times in the past year. I handed the cashier my credit card and she told me they don't take credit cards unless it's 5 dollar minimum, but she would take it as a favor.. Favor? FAVOR?? WHO'S THE CONSUMER? This is how you treat a regular customer?? I realize it's only $2.50, but isn't the customer always right? I don't pretend to be always right, but give me a break. Dragon Villa, you just lost a great customer. I'll bet the owners would love to hear this! There are a TON of Chinese food places in the area that EVEN DELIVER, but we have ALWAYS gone to Dragon Villa... But no more. YOU DON'T TREAT YOUR INCOME SOURCE LIKE THIS. VERY...
