*Revised - This is for the Oxford, AL location that opened on Jan 28, 2020. We tried it on Jan 30th.
We will try eating here again once they have been open a while. There were far too many issues with our dinner to go back soon. Our waitress didn't speak English beyond about a first grade level, and that is being generous. So this made it very difficult ordering. Also upon clearing some of our plates, she placed knives and forks on the skillets, then lifted them off the table and over my 3-year-old daughter's head. Common sense tells you not to go over someone with items, especially when they are heavy, sharp, and/or hot. We ordered queso dip and sweet tea. The chips are good, but salsa was bland. The queso came out colder than room temperature, so we asked for hot, or at least warm queso. Then we ordered the house fajitas, chicken and steak fajitas, and a taco salad. The chicken and steak fajitas came out with congealed grease on the skillet. So it was far from even being warm. The side plate of lettuce, pico de gallo, guacamole, rice, and refried beans were all cold. The house fajitas were warmer, but by no means hot. They also came with a surprise cheese quesadilla on the rice. I had to request tortillas. The taco salad was supposed to have cheese, but apparently you have to request it if you want more than light cheese. We counted 3 small shreds of cheese. Once all those problems were rectified, we still weren't satisfied with the lack of seasoning on the chicken, steak, and shrimp. I really do hope next time is better, or at...
Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE!!!! For starters, we walked in and the hostess was very rude which i did not like because that’s the first impression you get walking into a restaurant. We sit down, get our chips and salsa and waiter was very rude as well. He did not even write down our order and proceeded to walk away when i wasn’t even done ordering yet. My friend ordered the Crazy Dip, and all the meat was stuck together and she couldn’t even chew it. My drink was empty for the majority of the time we ate, and our waiter never came back once to check on us or if the food was good. We looked around for him and he was sitting at a table playing on his phone instead of waiting on us. The only time he came back was to give us our checks. We told him the food was terrible and asked to see a manager when he told us the manager was “busy”. Luckily, they didn’t charge her for her food, but still overall a terrible experience. Also would like to point out that the entire next day, i was sick throwing up all day long, and it was more than likely from their food. There was a completely different occasion that my mom went with one of her friends, and she also got sick and was vomiting that night. Do not recommend this place, unless they get a better staff...
Read moreWe have been to mangos several times and it has been fantastic. Today was my boyfriends birthday and we ordered and I was the last to get my food when it arrives it is not mine but my brother in law's he had been given mine by mistake. So I tell the waiter this is his. At this point my brother in law has eaten almost all of the meat off it and the waiter swaps plates with us and walks away. I did not want the half eaten plate so I ask for another one. I waited while the other six people in our party ate and they brought me back a plate of Caribbean catch that has no fish no crab only has vegetables and two shrimp. I swear it looked like the same plate I gave back. I told them I didn't want it. I told the manager what happened and he tells me he did me a favor and took the price of the Caribbean catch off of our ticket. How nice of them I didn't even get to eat. My boyfriend was so upset he quit eating as did everyone else. No discount no we will fix this no we will make this right. Just the favor of taking my food off that I didn't even get to eat. Ruined my boyfriends birthday dinner. We had to go get something else to eat. I will not be...
