Ninja Restaurant — Restaurant in Lincoln

After my last experience was not the best, wait time and food quality, I didn't order from here for almost 4 months. Today's experience was quite a disappointment. I ordered online and was quoted 20 to 25 minutes till it would be ready. I got there 30 minutes later as again I've always had to wait a few minutes before hand for my order and I've learned. I got there today and 3 employees were standing at the register with my ticket in front of them, it hadn't even been started yet. I waited 20 minutes in an empty restaurant for an order that I'd already given 30 minutes on. The dining room smelled like an ammonia spill and was nauseating. Instead of being acknowledged during my wait I pretty much got to watch them asunder around and ignore my presence. But I did get to watch their sanitation habits and it sealed my mind of never returning. Hands washed without soap, a ladle rinsed off in the handsink and cleaned of debris with a paper towel, and the sushi maker rubbing his nose and scratching his face with his gloves on and continuing to make food. The first time I got food there I was extremely pleased! It was very good and I thought the prices were very reasonable. I ordered it again with a friend of mine this past week and unfortunately my friend's meals were anything but pleasing. I got the sesame seed chicken and it was pretty good. However, we also ordered the eggrolls and the chicken fried rice. DO NOT get the chicken fried rice. They chicken came out looking questionable. It was squishy and chewy and did not taste like chicken. The eggrolls were okay. Something about them didn't taste right to me.

My sister has eaten there twice and never had an issue, so this time could possibly be just a one time thing. I truly hope so because I really did like them the first time I ate there.

They're not even trying here which is a little scary with raw fish. Their Chinese dishes are mediocre and the sushi is only slightly better than gas station sushi and it's not as good as the grocery stores if you get it freshly made and it's all incrediblely overpriced. You will feel bad for spending money and still be hungry after eating here.

Someone else who should feel bad is the person who reviewed this restaurant for the Lincoln Journal Star. They should be ashamed of their glowing review of this restaurant because it's an insult to every other Asian restaurant in this city who actually deserve that kind of praise especially the ones that go above and beyond in providing quality Asian fusion cuisine at an...
