Late Night Date Night

Another evening of work for my husband, we decided on dinner at The Garage nearby. Kitchen closes at 10 on weekends, we got there just after 9pm. Although we stop for a drink on our way home now and then it had been awhile since we'd eaten here.

Started with a side of Onion Petals and yummy dip. He Loves their Chili, one of the best in town. Plus a Cinnamon Roll which is only a few bucks when added on to your Chili. After he was done he got another bowl of soup, the special Creamy Potato. Soup is his thing. Obviously.

I was happy cuz since the last time we dined in they've added a couple of meatless items back to the menu. Decided on the Veggie Wrap. It was delicious, better than I had anticipated! Everything was fresh and wrapped in like a soft "Chipotle style" tortilla. Got some yummy honey mustard to dip it in. Tots for my side. Took half of it home for later!

Finished with a Well Drink. They are always super bubbly and come in a tall glass the way I like it. Our server Landon said he remembered us from many months before. Great customer service, very personable, great conversation! They also recently resumed the Pork Tenderloin as an option, it's my husband's other favorite thing to order here. We'll...

I cannot recall the last time I wrote a not-so-good review. But I'll do so today because it was a genuinely horrible dinner for me at this place.

I ordered 12 char grilled wings after the barman told me that they'll make them char-grilled. A few minutes after I placed the order, I asked the barman to emphasize to the cook that I wanted them extra char-grilled. The barman gave me an attitude and shook his head, and his reaction to my request was all but shocking. I immediately knew he was not going to pass that info to the cook.

I waited for my wings for another 30 minutes. 35 minutes, 40 minutes (I'm a patient man...). Finally at some point, the barman goes to get my wings.

Holy moly! He comes back with COLD half fried wings. I'm a cool guy but I almost lost it. But because I was super hungry, I ate a few of the cold and taffy wings.

And the barman had the guts to ask me, "do you need a to-go-box?" Of course I said "NO." I paid and walked out for the last time at this place.

Very unfortunate that I had to deal with the uncooperative and arrogant...

Went here on a sunny Saturday afternoon, hoping to have a few drinks, get something to eat and watch some football. So they had alot of TVs to watch multiple games on but the reception on the TVs were not coming in on more than half. Instead it was just scrambled reception. Ordered a couple of beers. Our waitress was to busy playing on her phone in the corner to ask if we wanted more drinks, when we were empty. So we sat there looking at scrambled TVs. The head bar tender behind the bar just continued to let the TVs be scrambled. So by the time our food was ready to come out, our waitress finally came over to ask if we wanted refills, I decided I wasnt spending another nickel in this joint, so I ordered a water to go with our meal. I asked if we could get a couple of boxes and pretty much took our food to go. Very Very disappointing experience. I gave it 1 star just because the food was decent. Place was not overly busy, so no excuse for the horrible service. ...
