Zesto — Restaurant in Lincoln

Very disappointed! I have loved their ice cream for years but some cleanliness issues have recently caught my attention. I was there yesterday and noticed the guy who took my cash order did not change his gloves between handling money and the food. When I said that he should, he replied with "it doesnt really matter". Emailed the owner and she basically said that they have meetings, the employees are supposed to change their gloves in between customers and they have a sanitizer bucket. I'm sorry but do they change their gloves between customers or between transactions and food? Either way, I have sanitizer on my food or germs from cash because it took me about 3 seconds to go from window one to window two and I was watching what he did. I have came here since a child always have had a pleasant experience. I came in today and literally placed my order (small vanilla cone dipped in chocolate) the lady was telling what I did or didn’t order and charged me for a kids cone dipped in cherry…. after she must of misheard me. I even offered to pay again for the order I had already asked and paid for.. the young lady is there laughing and clearly irritated when she made the mistake in the first place. She literally didn’t apologize or anything. This is the worst service I’ve had in I don’t know how long. I left disappointed with bad service and over paying.. honestly maybe you guys should get rid of the envelope you’re taking orders on and read the order back if there is any confusion. I have been in Lincoln for over 20 yrs now. Zesto has been a staple for all my family and friends. I couldn't count the # of times we have frequented your place. And I couldn't tell you how many more in the future(many).

It's still my favorite ice cream in lincoln. Thanks for having so many options and even having hot food if we needed it.
