I'd been wanting to try Lincoln Seafood and I finally stopped in today. Since it was my 1st time there I decided it would be a good idea to order the seafood platter to see what they do best. Everything was wonderful, actually some of the best seafood I've had in recent memory. The perch was much better than any I've had in years. The pieces were large, moist, and flavorful like it used to be. The flounder was quite impressive also. The oysters were perfect too. I was a bit surprised that they charge $1 for cocktail & tarter sauce. Not knowing which was better, I splurged and ordered both. Their cocktail sauce is the "good stuff". It's made with fresh horseradish, like it's supposed to be. They are large, 4oz containers, which is plenty. I don't usually write reviews, but Lincoln Seafood really impressed me. I was so disappointed by the dinky size of the catfish that I actually took pictures with a ruler to show how absurdly small they were. Again, any other time their quality is consistent, but I get the impression that if you order too close to closing you will definitely get the...

I enjoy the food. I had fried shrimp. It was battered and deep fried. The coating was tasty and not greasy. My "small" order contained a generous serving of shrimp, plenty of grape sized hush puppies, a baked potato, and finely chopped cole slaw.
The meal is all packed in a white paperboard box like would get at a bakery. This is way better than a styrofoam clamshell container that ends up steaming your food. My food was still crispy when I arrived home about 10 minutes later.
I recommend Lincoln Seafood if you like southern style deep fried seafood (and chicken), generous portions, and don't mind waiting a few minutes for hot, freshly cooked food. BTW, they will also grill selected items...
