Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Lincolnton

I placed an order through the app and was told afterwards that Door Dash would be delivering the food. I waited an hour for our food.The app updated and said your food is on the way at 742 pm and the driver’s name was Richard F. Following along in the app, you can see the driver stopped for at least 10 minutes either at CVS, Wendy’s or the smoke shop on the way to my house. The driver pulled up at my house at 808 pm according to my camera and a lady gets out of the car and leaves my food on the front door step. She never rang the bell and wasn't supposed to be delivering my food. I get the food and bring it in the house and of course it is cold. I live six minutes from Papa Johns. I called the store to speak with some guy who claims he is the manager and basically tells me there is nothing he can do. The drivers don't work for him and that if I didn't want my food left on the door step, that I should have put specific instructions in the box. Well, it literally says hand me my order. While Im telling him this, he hung up the phone up on me. Before the pizza ever got to my house and before I called the store, I received an email that says sorry about your order, here is 50% off your next order. Their customer service was the worst. We frequently order from Papa Johns but I will not be ordering...

Ordered here last night, toppings looked bad. Like someone had just thrown stuff on without giving a hoot about the customers' experience. We ordered a customised Hawaiian Pizza and Breadsticks. The worst part is that my husband and I, after eating this "pizza" aren't feeling well, stomach wise. I couldn't sleep at all last night, been running to the toilet and my stomach is hurting terribly. I do not recommend this branch - they clearly aren't hygienic (reading other comments that have been posted), and they do not make their pizzas or breadsticks well (they had just thrown the cheese on top and some sticks weren't even covered in cheese; the pizza wasn't cut well, wasn't round but some weird mishappen shape, and toppings were unevenly distributed - everything looked like a mess). Delivery was the only good thing. Garlic Breadsticks were so greasy they bled through the pizza box onto the already greasy ,super greasy NY Pizza they call it. It was Spicy and I like spice but this was a weird spicy taste, the cheese sticks were gross too. First time I've had this severe of an issue and I order like once a week, every two weeks at the least so that was it for us,never AGAIN! You can see from pics we only ate a few slices and barely anything bc it was so unappealing and unappetizing! Look at the grease through the boxes in the pics and grease sitting on top of everything. I don't mind grease but not soaked into my food like it was dipped!( March 29th 2024 at 7pm we ordered from this establishment). If I could give no stars, I would! Meal was 51$, and tip was $13.
