I placed a carry out order & told the order taker that I had the 12 box coupons for 50% off a pizza, she said ok. After ordering the pizza I also ordered 2 pieces of cheesecake & asked if the cannolis had chocolate chips or were plain? She said they are plain, I ordered one. The canoli had nuts, luckily the person eating it doesn't have a nut allergy since she gave the wrong info. When I went in & handed her the coupons she had trouble trying to ring up order & asked Sofia for help. Sofia said we don't take those anymore. I told her I mentioned them on the phone & was not told that. She gave me a very dirty look & very rudley said she's new so she didn't know! I asked ok & that is my fault? I'd have to say this girl needs proper training. I asked for the manager please & Sofia gave another very angry face & said I'm the assistant manager. I said ok but I asked for the store manager. She said he's not here. I asked her to write down his name & her name for me & she did & if looks could kill I'd be lying dead on the floor. Wow I couldn't believe the nasty attitude. An older man came out & when she told him the new girl told me I could use them, he looked at me & said you should've mentioned them when ordering!! I said I did! Then he said well EVERYONE knows we don't take these anymore! I said I didn't know! I don't get rosatis often & I was picking up food for my parents with their coupons & they have no expiration date on them. Also the new girl working didn't know because she didn't tell me on the phone & even attempted to ring up my order with them. I called today when they said Eddie the manager would be in & he said I can call Wednesday morning if I'd like as that is when the owner is in & Sofia is the owners daughter!! Last night I couldn't figure out why she was so rude of something she could've handled simply by saying call the manager or owner here's the names & times they will be in. Now I understand, her job is secure so she doesn't feel a need to care if they lose a customer. That is very sad. I will say there was a girl didn't get her name that got my order for me, she had long blonde hair & in her early 20s I'd say, she was very nice to me & said to have a good night. She knows how to treat a customer, Sofia however has a lot to learn about...
Read moreAbout a week back or so my wife and I ordered and I requested my calzone without the parm cheese or oregano on top. The person that took the ordered read it back to me and confirmed it. The food got here and there was parm and oregano on top. I checked the ticket and sure enough who ever took the order wrote on there not to add it. I called spoke with the manager who was nice enough and he gave me a free calzone on my account. I was a little hesitant because Iâve been told that before by this location and it never happened. He assured me it would be there.
My wife and I decided to to try again and ordered tonight and again we asked for no oregano and parm. The order comes in and again they put it on and again it was on the ticket not too. I called and spoke with a young lady with an accent( thatâs the only way I can describe her since she didnât give a name) I asked for a manager and was told she would get one so I was put on hold for around five minutes. I figured after 5 minutes Iâll just call back. I called back spoke with the same women and again was put on hold for five minutes. Someone picked up the phone after that time passed and was hung up on. I called back a third time and was told the manager wasnât in. So why couldnât I be told that before? I wasnât rude I wasnât yelling so I donât understand why I just wasnât told.
The problem for me is whoever is taking the order is clearly listening and doing the right thing but who ever is making it either doesnât care or doesnât check the ticket not sure which is worse. Then whoever is checking the order before itâs boxed again either doesnât care or doesnât read the ticket.
We live so incredibly close that it stinks that we are going to be forced to go to the round...
Read moreThis story is kind of interesting. I received a coupons in the mail for a special being offered by Rosatiâs. So I immediately called my local office. I started the order, mentioned the special and was ready to pay (my location is the one on Rollins Rd in Round Lake Beach). Then the rep asks me, âWhich location is on the promo?â So I look and see itâs the location on Rte 45. The guy then tells me, âYeah, youâll need to call them for this then!â Iâm like, âSo youâre not interested in my business and are sending me to another location? Is that right?â And he replied, âYeah. We arenât going to honor that price or promo.â So I canceled the order and called the correct location. I was greeted so nicely by the rep on the phone. She was well aware of the promo and took my order. She was pleasant and repeated my order back to me to verify it was correct. She asked if there was anything else I wanted to add before taking my payment. And the pizza arrived within the window of time she was given me. My food was hot and fresh and it was exactly what I had ordered. Iâll definitely be doing business with them again. Iâve been doing business with my other location for more than 7 years and to see that they wouldnât even entertain the idea shows me how much they care about...
