China's Alley — Restaurant in Lindsay

Paul the owner, came into my wife's work and they started discussing that I started working in Lindsay and was not very familiar with the food options here.

Well Paul gave her his business card and told her to have me come in and try the place, he said my first meal was on him.

Well I've tried the place a couple times now and I will say what i've ordered (Three Taco plater with Ground beef, Chicken, and shredded beef) were really good. I am not a fan of rice and hardly eat it and didn't want to waste it and they mixed up the all bean and no rice for all rice and no beans.

The waitress at the time brought a side of beans out and they were really good, a little salty and smooth so they went well with the chips.

Today I tried them again and I got the two Shrimp Soft Tacos, and the food was excellent as was the staff. The Shrimp were cooked perfectly without being rubbery, the beans were great. The only complaint I had this time was on the tea, it was really bitter as if it was old or came from the fountain. I got it replaced with a Diet coke without issue.

very good spot if you like Mexican food, and Paul is a great guy, very personable and made sure to come tell me how good of a job my wife had done for him during their transaction.

Bad communication and rude. I had called early to make a reservation. When my family got there, they were rudely told by staff and manager that the reservation was canceled and that two orders of chicken were made. I did not called to canceled the reservation nor made an order of chicken, how shady. I do not recommend this place for reservations if you want your day to be ruined. Luckily, we found a good taco place nearby "Tacos Los Primos" so good and I recommend...

Bad service!! Food isn't that great. My friend got a Chile Verde burrito and they literally gave her cut up green peppers in the burrito when she wanted green sauce. I got the deluxe quesadilla and it didn't even come with sour cream and guacamole!! The waitress wasn't checking up on us and we waited too long for them to bring our menus and to bring us our checks. The there was a nail spa sandal at the bottom of the table!!! You're better off going to Dennys...
