Jiffy Treet of Linton — Restaurant in Linton

Terrible experience! We waited in drive through line for 20 minutes with only 2 cars ahead of us.Then a guy came out and took our order and credit card. We waited another 10 minutes, then the chocolate milkshake extra thick came out melted like chocolate milk. We immediately sent it back, waited another 10 minutes and received the same thing. It was for our granddaughter and she decided to go ahead and just keep it, only to find out after we left that it tasted like somebody had squirted soap in it or something and was not drinkable. Rather than waste more time trying again we headed down the road and got her something else. We are from Ellettsville and have a fantastic Jiffy Treat in our town. I don’t know what’s going on at the Linton Jiffy Treat but we’ll never go back there. The only reason I’m giving it one star is because it’s the only way it will...

Edit: Inside is closed & ppl getting food should pull over. Some girl went inside while the vehicle she was in waited for food but she got a cone and lost all the ice cream bcz she was goofing off. Food ppl should pull over imo. Also best ice cream around but my milk shake was watery and tasted like more milk than ice cream was put into it. Which surprised me. Going to see who has the best shake in town. S for superior then A-F ratings. Right now Jiffy Unfortunately has a C on my vanilla milkshake.

The staff is always friendly and the food and ice cream excellent. My only wish is they wouldn't close down for the few months they do as we have no other ice cream options and many ppl eat a lot of ice cream in the winter. And we miss the food as well. Maybe open from 3 to 9 or 4 to 9 for those of us that want ice cream. But 5 stars for when...

Food is good, overall, but do not expect fast service. This place is almost always run by teenagers with little or no adult help! Prices could be a bit better, seemed a bit high for what we got. After a recent change in ownership, they denied all local fundraising opportunities (like discount cards) at no cost to them! I will not support local businesses that do not support local organizations.

Update: I have learned that this business is on some local discount cards, but the rumor is that this is only the case because the school didn't ask permission to put Jiffy Treat on the card and they are honoring it anyway. Not sure if this is true, but it is good, at least, that they are honoring this. I'm going to try them again to see if more adult help has...
