The Vault bar and grill — Restaurant in Linton

I've been eating at The Vault on a regular basis for awhile and have always enjoyed their steaks. Unfortunately, the last few times I've ate there, the steak I ordered was overcooked and did not taste as good. I was very disappointed for a $30 meal. Maybe they are just training a new cook or something but I hope they get it lined out. I am a steak fanatic and would have ranked their steak with some of the best steak houses I've been to, but not the last few times I was there. The first time I thought it was just a fluke. We love The Vault and will eventually go back but we waited over 70 minutes on a Monday night for a steak and wings. There were only two other tables and one already had their food. I’m not sure why it takes so long to get food. This has happened on multiple occasions. We didn’t get home until after 9 o’clock and paying for meal that takes so long is unacceptable. We just wanted a quiet relaxing evening out. We don’t want to spend over two hours at a restaurant in a work night. First of all, I wanted to mention that this place is does serve children. They even have a kids menu now and this just started earlier this week. Overall, it wasn't my favorite restaurant of all time, but it wasn't the worst either. It is pretty slow during the week and there computer system for processing credit is working, although I'm not sure they take all types of credit. I thought the Vault Burger, their signature burger was good. I asked for them to season it and since they make everything to order, it was pretty good.
