TLDR: THE BEST EVENT CATERING AND THE BEST FOOD!!! When my husband and I began finding caterers for our reception, we tried about 8 places until we realized that no place truly captured rich and aromatic desi flavor with undeniable professionalism. That was until our uncle recommended we try Curry District. When we went in to try food for our event, we were hesitant as we didn't want to get our hopes up. However, the moment we tried their butter chicken, biryani and chicken 65, we went to sleep dreaming about their food and were back the next day for more! We knew this was the place we wanted for our event! Not only was their food absolutely delicious - we love their service and their catering manager, Sunand. He was so patient with us and explained with both empathy and knowledge what dishes would be best for us and our families! He even allowed us to make changes and add more dishes up until a week before our wedding (we kept trying new items and falling in love with more dishes, oops!) He was also incredibly attentive to various allergies that our guests had. We love Curry District so much that even a week before our reception, we were craving it and had to go have it (even though we knew we would have left overs for days given the abundant quantity they provide!) We're so grateful for Sunand and the Curry District team. The food at our event was what everyone talked about! It was everybody's favorite party of the event, and we still hear about it even a week later. We highly recommend trying the butter chicken (its the best we've ever had), the chilli paneer, chicken 65 and gobi 65 and the biryani!

Ok, the setup: I'm an adventurous eater, my wife is not. When she went out of town, I finally got to try Indian food. Wowzers! I told that to the delightfully happy and helpful young lady at the counter and asked her to pick an app and main. I'm very happy with spice. She absolutely nailed it. App - Curry Leaf Chicken, med spice level. This alone is a meal for one person. It was exquisite. I could have taken more spice, but I'm glad I didn't. Update: This dish just blows my mind every time, still. Incredible. Main - Butter Chicken (comes with rice) + garlic naan. I wasn't sure how to eat it (do I mix rice/sauce and put it on the naan??), so in an amazing touch of comminity, I asked two Indian patrons how it should be eaten - forget the rice, dunk the naan. Boom! Incredible! Big thank you to Curry District staff and patrons for not making an Indian food newbie feel like one!

Highly recommended for their Biryani. Yummmmm, was it awesome or what. Nicely made traditional vegetarian biryani - you must check it out. Baby đŸŒœ corn Manchurian was good. Well sauteed vegetables and who made baby corn were perfectly made for each other. Onion samosa was good. Served burnt side down, well that's the first thing you notice when you pick it up. Silly. Would have given 5 stars out of five for the food. Except the table was left dirty and probably not cleaned all day. And there were flies/mosquito/whatever bugs flying around. Not good sense of cleanliness at all. A good detailed health inspection might get this restaurant into a big trouble.

What I ordered: Paneer Tikka Masala, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Vindaloo, Curry Chicken, Buttered Chicken, Samosa, and Rice Kheer.

All of the dishes were distinct in flavor, prepared well and VERY yummy. This is not the best Indian food in Dallas and surrounding cities but it is the best I've had in Frisco, Little Elm, and McKinney (I've been systematically trying all of the ones I can find over the last few months).

The two Tikka Masalas and the buttered chicken all were well spiced and had a slight sweet flavor to them which was unusual but good. The curry chicken was just plain delicious, and this was my first time having real Vindaloo (I've had it out of a jar at home) which I was happy with though I don't have anything else to compare it to. I've had better Rice Kheer but Curry district does their's a little different and I would get it again. It wasn't too sweet and had some almonds and something else I couldn't quite put my finger on. Only suggestion for the rice Kheer would be to add a little more cardamom.

The service was great, they understood my order the first time, got it 100% correct and were very friendly when picking up the food. I ordered my food to go so I didn't not eat there however when I went in to pickup the restaurant was very clean and was pleasant to visit.

I am giving this place 5 stars because the food is much better than surrounding similar restaurants and the service was unmatched by about 80% of my overall restaurant experiences. This place is solid, please frequent it so we can keep it around and...

From the moment we stepped in, the restaurant impressed us with its warm and inviting ambiance. The décor strikes a perfect balance between traditional charm and modern elegance, creating a cozy yet stylish atmosphere that immediately sets the tone for a great dining experience.

We started with the appetizers, which were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Each bite was perfectly seasoned, offering a wonderful introduction to the culinary journey ahead. The variety and freshness really stood out.

The biryani was a highlight—fragrant, rich, and cooked to perfection. The layers of spices were well balanced, and the rice was fluffy without being greasy. It’s clear that great care goes into every detail of the dish.

The naan was another winner—soft, buttery, and fresh from the tandoor. It paired perfectly with everything we ordered and was a crowd favorite at our table.

The service was exceptional throughout the meal. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making us feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. They struck the right balance between being helpful and giving us space to enjoy our meal.

Overall, this restaurant is a gem—delicious food, a beautiful setting, and outstanding service. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable...
