Ben's Bagel Barn — Restaurant in Little Ferry

This morning I asked my husband to buy me a coffee because we just usually buy bagels. But since I am pregnant and I have cravings I asked my husband to buy me a small decaf coffee along with bagels. We are a regular customer here. Though we knew there’s a new bagel store near us we still stick to Bagel Barn. We remain loyal to this store. What I don’t like is the old man approached my husband from getting hazelnut creamers. I knew we bought only half coffee but I asked my husband to get me a lot due to my cravings. The old man approached him in a bad way even if he knew there are lots of people who would hear him. It’s not that we always do that. It’s the first time I requested for a coffee to my husband from this store. Now I am thinking if we will still be continuing to buy bagels from them. I needed a place to pick up some brekkie sammies early Saturday morning and that’s when I found Ben’s Bagel Barn and it was reasonably priced. I called ahead to order 5 items at around 6:15 and they quoted a wait time of about 20 minutes. I arrived half an hour later and the order wasn’t quite ready yet but they were surprisingly busy at that time. I ordered a sausage and cheese on an everything bagel for myself and to my surprise, it had two sausage patties in it. I guess it was because I opted out of the egg. It was very filling and I couldn’t even finish the whole sandwich in one setting. I also ordered a side of hash browns, which was a complete jip. It was just an overly fried and oily hash brown patty - the ones you can get in the supermarket and it cost $3. I could go and buy a whole pack for less than that. Ben's Bagel Barn is satisfying and delicious. We have gone here a few weekends when we crave our bagels, rolls, and more. The busyness with the line of customers waiting for food is worth it to come back each time.

My go-to breakfsst is egg salad, lettuce, less mayonnaise on a roll. A good portion is given. the cut in half is much appreciated.

Service is fast, efficient, and always friendly when we are next. No matter how busy they get, we don't find ourselves waiting too long. Each staff member is responsible for the specific order until ready and served.

The atmosphere is comfortable and reminds me of walking into your kitchen at home. Decor is fun and coordinates with the current holiday. All payments are accepted, and the parking lot is available.
