Little Ferry Library — Attraction in Little Ferry

My call to this library was handed off to a woman identifying herself as the director of the facility. My online BCCLS request for a title, which was only available here, was cancelled on three occasions, and wanted to know what the issue was.

This "director" was brusk, impatient, rude and seemingly disinterested in helping me. Abruptly refusing a request to physically check the shelf or assign a colleague to do so for the book, further exemplifying the impertinence and insolence she was projecting.

My request for assistance was handled apathetically and in a perfunctory manner.

Our conversation concluded with her performing a full and glorious slamming down of the telephone.

I only stop by here if I want to check out a book. There isn't really any great places to sit on your laptop while it's charging unless you want to sit in an armchair with it on your lap or one tiny table against the wall. It's a small library, but have a decent selection. The reason I gave it only three stars is because when the kids get out of school, they often come here to hang out and cause a lot of noise. It makes it SO hard to concentrate and it's not like you can go to another room because you'll still be able to hear it. If you plan on studying, I hate to say it, but avoid coming here 3pm-5pm on weekdays. Otherwise it's very quiet...

It is one of the worst libraries I’ve been too. They are small, out dated, and they close WAY too early. They might as well open at 12 and close at 8 if staff working hours is the issue. You cant even use this library after work. They close at 5:30.. useless...
