Me and my husband ordered delivery and we got a call from our doordash driver in the middle of pickup and our driver was calling us letting us know the store manager on duty today was refusing to cooperate with our driver. We were on the phone with our driver and overheard the conversation between the driver and the manager and the manager wasn't being very nice at all she was refusing to read the drivers phone screen when the driver was showing her the order information. The store manager said "I'M NOT READING THAT" with a very rude demeaning tone from what it sounded like. Our driver said "look its this number, theres the last three numbers on the bag" the manager then told our driver she can't have the order that she needs a name. So then we hear our driver say look I'm showing you the information your asking for can I have the order please. The manager got super rude caught an attitude with our driver while we were on the other end of the phone listening. The manager threatened to report our driver and was trying to refuse us service through our driver so we called and made a report to doordash customer support let them know what was going on while our driver was at the restaurant being mistreated trying to pick up our food.
By the time we got off the phone with customer service support through doordash the lady finally gave our driver our food but we had already canceled the delivery because 1 it was taking too long for the restaurant to hand over the order and 2 we didn't like how the manager was speaking and treating our driver its just uncalled for. It makes me wonder how we would have been treated in store......
Needless to say we aren't happy and we called and made a report after hearing how our driver was treated and we will not be ordering here again.
The manager needs to be fired if shes not willing to do her job and if shes not up to being polite to instore customers and drivers. We will also be reaching our to corporate and we recommend our driver do the same because something needs to be done and something needs to change with management because your whole team is looking up to the store manager for guidance and being rude and not wanting to do your job is showing them it's okay to be rude and slack off.
Also want to point out the manager pretty much tried to steal our money and not give us our merchandise we paid for!!! You can't keep an order thats been paid for already that's straight up stealing!!!!! How many other customers has this manager tried to steal from????
Ridiculous!!!!!!!
Doordash gave us a refund but we did tell them about our delivery services experience and let them know it wasnt the drivers fault and that the manager was just refusing to do her job today without being rude.
We hope the driver reaches out to corporate because we definitely are and we hope this gets...
Read moreWon't visit again. Drive Thru operator "Joanne" was rude. All I wanted was an ice cream cone. Waited in the drive through for 3 minutes listening to a full conversation regarding another employee's life, and how an individual the other employee knew almost walked away with free food (then proceeded to talk about how she knew this customer, and how he was the jealous type).
Said "Hello" twice with no response. Drove around to the second window. "Joanne" asked me if I was waiting for a coffee. I said "no - I don't think the mics are working. I'd just like to order a cone." Joanne said "we've been here the whole time working, so, 63 cents." She was incredibly short, unprofessional, and made me feel like I was the bad guy for driving around and asking for a cone.
Came in the store to express my frustration, and there was no one at the counter. An older woman (someone's Grandma) just needed ketchup, and Joanne rolled her eyes at this woman's request, then proceeded to grab a box of ketchup from under a nearby counter while saying "oh god." She grabbed a handful of ketchup packets and slammed them on the counter.
Asked the worker her name. Told Joanne how rude she was, and left...
Read moreThis will be the last time we buy from this store. If we want McDonald's again, which is questionable now with their extremely high prices, we will drive down to County Line and Broadway and by pass this store at Panama and Broadway. After spending $33 for breakfast, I asked for 4 syrup and he brought two and said there was some in the bag. There was 1 in the bag. I asked for the 4th one and he looked down at me like I was a second class citizen, went and got another syrup, and looking down is nose me, full of disdain, handed me the syrup. No "thank you", "have a nice day", "my pleasure", nothing. Just the night before, at Chick-fil-A, the exact opposite experience. Every time we go through Chick-fil-A, you feel grateful for the incredibly kind experience from the staff. Every time we drive through McDonalds on Broadway and Panama, you feel like the scum of the earth. And not to mention, the food prep at this store is the WORST of all McDonald's around. Actually, the store should be shut down as it is a disgrace to the overall franchises...
