This Subway is really disappointing. The toaster has been broken for two months now, and instead of fixing it, theyâve resorted to microwaving everything. The result? A soggy, bland sandwich thatâs just not worth the money. Itâs hard to even call it âfreshâ when the whole thing comes out limp and wet. Honestly, itâs pretty gross, and it seems like no one cares enough to get a simple toaster fixed.
On top of that, prices have shot up drastically here, especially when you compare this location to the Subway down the road. Youâre paying more for food thatâs worse â microwaved sandwiches at that. It just feels like theyâre trying to take advantage of customers while giving them less in return.
The real issue, though, is the management. I donât know what happened, but this place is falling apart, and itâs clear that leadership is failing. Itâs clear that the problems at this location arenât about the employees or the current manager, Mat, whoâs doing his best given the circumstances. The real issue lies higher up. If the higher-ups cared about the quality of their stores, theyâd be fixing the toaster, addressing the price hikes, and making sure the store was properly managed. Instead, it feels like theyâre just sitting back while everything falls apart.
The store used to be much better under the previous manager, Connor, but now thereâs just a sense of chaos. Iâm not sure what direction theyâre going in, but itâs definitely not the right one.
I walked in last week, and there was an older couple in front of me who were yelling because their sandwiches werenât toasted. I could hear them complaining about the prices and how everything was cold. Itâs awkward watching employees take the heat for problems that clearly arenât their fault. The workers were trying to stay calm, but itâs tough when the basics arenât even being handled properly.
If youâre looking for a decent Subway experience, this is not the place to go. Bad sandwiches, high prices, and poor management
I used to come here regularly, but with the prices going up and the lack of basic maintenance, I canât recommend this location anymore. If the upper management doesnât step in soon, I donât see how this store will last...
Read moreNever in my entire life have I seen such unprofessional, unsanitary, and unsatisfactory service from any restaurant anywhere. It was almost as if the two young staff members went out of there way to ensure my friends and I had a horrible experience. They clearly made the sandwiches with their bare, dirty, little hands. The sink looked dry as a bone, and we never saw them wash their hands at any point while they were working on our food. Who needs gloves when you can spread your scum and bacteria to paying customers?
Our order was wrong in multiple ways, from missing ingredients they refused to remember, to drinks we paid for but were never given. The WORST however was the nut allergy contamination. We ordered chocolate chip cookies, and apparently they didn't have more than a couple. This would normally be absolutely fine! Except they substituted macadamia nut cookies which if we hadn't caught, my friend could have had a severe allergic reaction. Subway would have been liable for the legal ramifications, when in reality it was entirely preventable.
The restaurant itself was disgusting. Trash on the floor, full garbage cans that clearly hadn't been emptied in days, and sticky tables. The two teens obviously have no idea how to clean anything. In my opinion, they shouldn't have any form of employment higher than a lemonade...
Read moreThis Subway has really taken a turn for the worse. The toaster has been broken for TWO MONTHS, which means all sandwiches have to be microwaved. Honestly, itâs disgusting. Thereâs nothing worse than biting into a soggy, microwaved sandwich when youâre expecting that crispy, toasted texture. Itâs just not the same, and it really ruins the whole experience. How a Subway can go two months without fixing something as basic as a toaster is beyond me.
The employees are still great, though â friendly and hardworking. One of them mentioned that the bacon add-ons used to be a big hit when they were $1.50, but now it doesnât really appeal to customers anymore. No one knows why, but it seems like theyâre just stuck dealing with the fallout of decisions they had no part in.
Also, I heard that the manager who used to run the store â the one who was with Subway for years and was amazing at his job â got let go. Itâs a shame. He was the kind of manager who really connected with the customers and the team. Without him, the place just doesnât feel the same, and itâs clear the store is struggling.
The employees are doing their best, but the lack of leadership and basic upkeep â like, you know, having a working toaster â is seriously dragging the experience down. Itâs hard to recommend this location until they...
