Omg!!! I can't say enough rave reviews about the food here! Let's start with the Ruben eggrolls and smoked mac and cheese egg rolls appetizers. The Rubens are special for St Patrick's Day but get them while they last because they are so tasty. They're crispy and flaky and then you get your traditional thousand Island sauce. We had ordered two large pizzas one being the Smoky Caprese which is like a margarita pizza with the addition of their bacon. The Philly cheese steak was a favorite. It's their yeast raised crust and the garlic butter brushed on it to gives you that perfect salty savory flavor that is so good. We stopped at the bakery counter and I found the best kolaches!!! They have their own twist with crispy sugar instead of powdered sugar that gives you that crunch along with the buttery layers. I have waited 15 years to try these again I couldn't find them anywhere. The lemon berry cake with cream filling was to die for. I wasn't too impressed with the peanut butter fudge brownie cookie bar. It was just too rich and sweet for my taste. The M&M sugar cookies were crisp and sweet as you would expect. We will definitely be back!

Let me preface this review with the fact that we normally LOVE Samosky's. We eat here regularly. Their pizza and salads are consistently wonderful. Tonight however, we were not so fortunate. We ordered take out pizza, salads and wings. The wings were very overcooked. Not only were they burned, but were very dry as well. It happens to the best kitchen, but the disappointment came when my husband returned the wings. The cashier argued with my husband that the wings were supposed to look like this. "They are brined" so this is normal. My husband asked for a manager and got the same response until the manager actually tried one of the wings and agreed that they were subpar. The total lack of customer service training is very evident. One look at the wings should have been enough for the staff to just apologize and offer a refund. FYI Samosky's...brining the wings should ensure that they stay moist, not dry and over cooked.

My mom's favorite place for pizza, calzones, or even lighter fare like apps or salad. I think there is smthng addictive in the crust ... a yearning to return IMMEDIATELY lasts for about 2wks after I go here. The restaurant is ALWAYS busy - and for good reason. The food is incredible. I went out on a limb my last visit and got the BEET PIZZA. It was an evoo and garlic sauce with mushrooms, peas, beets and crumbled cheese. I like all these things but was unsure if having it on pizza would work. IT DID! I hope they keep this on the menu because it was a great surprise and delicious. My mom had the stuffed peppadew app and loved it. She can not eat spicy and was worried -being peppers- it would be too much for her but she said the peppers were sweet and NOT HOT in any way. The atmosphere remains super casual and family friendly. A great place in all respects.

On the recommendation of a number of friends who have eaten here at Samosky's, we drove 35 minutes from our home near Akron to have lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It was worth the drive! Without a doubt!

My wife, daughter and I split two small pizzas and each had the salad bar. The salad bar was very good, not just a bowl of iceberg lettuce and some store-bought dressing. The salad was a delicious blend of iceberg and other greens as well as many different fresh vegetables and toppings. Everything was fresh and tasty.

The first pizza we had was pepperoni and extra cheese. It was delicious. The crust and the sauce were perfect and the pizza itself was not too salty as most pepperoni pizza tends to be. The crust was really good. I know I said that already, but it was really, really good. Also, I should mention how good the crust is. The crust is really good.

We also ordered the Smoked Caprese Pizza which was one of the best pizza's I've ever had in my life! Definitely top three! The sweet tang of the balsamic glaze is perfectly balanced with the sweet saltiness of the Applewood smoked bacon. And the crust; how can I not mention how good the crust is? It's fantastic.

We will definitely be back. The drive is so very much worth the time for this award winning pizza. And this is not some local newspaper popularity contest that they've won, it's an international competition attended by hundreds of restaurants from around the world. And it's right here in our back yard. Take advantage - make the drive - you...

This was my second time visiting and I was pretty disappointed…. I had an amazing experience my first time at samoskys. Great food and great, attentive service. This time was not the same. We ordered the Smokey hot sticks as an appetizer. It was good, but I did order ranch with it because I can’t eat red sauce (one of my favorite things about samoskys - is so many other options than red sauce) I had to go to the hostess stand to ask for the ranch….i waited looking for our waitress for over 5 minutes and finally decided to go up and get it myself. Our waitress was truly only at our table 5 times, yes FIVE times during our whole entire visit at the restaurant….i was a bit upset because she checked on her other tables around us so many times and I just kept watching her go back to check on them again and again but still not checking on us. Towards the end I was without water for over 10 minutes and asked for a refill when she came to bring us boxes (we hadn’t asked for boxes yet…we were soon yes…but I wanted water first because I wasn’t fully done eating I just needed water to continue) after this we asked for check so we could go home. I was just super disappointed in the service tonight. We will go back, the food is very good. I just hope to have the great service that came along with it my...

I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and it was nothing like last time. This had little pepperonis that cupped up. I just asked for a regular pepperoni pizza, why the waiter decided to give me a different style of pepperoni is beyond me, because I have suspicions the pepperoni is what made me sick, plus he needed to be flagged down when I needed another pop. All the problems I had didn't dawn on me until after the fact which is why I left a 25% tip but it should have been 5%. The sauce and toppings started 3.5 inch away from the edge giving you a 3.5 inch crust. if they have to cheap out that badly it's probably the beginning of the end. The worst part was when I got home I had to run to the bathroom every half hour. I'm guessing they pull the pepperoni from the garbage because I saw another review that the pizza made them sick and I do believe that because their pizza made me sick too. This place needs the health inspector to look into it. I only ate half the pizza at the restaurant and took the other half home. I paid $25 with tip for half a pizza because the first half made me so sick, I threw the second half out. This is not award-winning pizza anymore, those days are gone and all good things come...
