From my Facebook Account, also shared to the DHFshow fan page on Fakebook. On food, it should be 5-stars.
On customer service in-store, it should be five-star as well.
On customer service online, it is a zero, and here is why, in two separate points.
I tried to get the free entree the day I installed the app, and when I couldn't get it because it didn't appear in the app (using extra tricks I know, still no luck). ----- Contacted customer service, this email account has yet top recieve a response. This FAIL cost me dinner that night, so yeah, I will remember the sting of that failed process for some time. Google Photos link of my email available on request, as this system isn't allowing links.
In checking the account now to be 100% sure it is a fail, I see that my birthday entree also didn't show in the app...been to busy trying to function to track my birthday present down. First, one should never have to track a birthday present down, and, more importantly, why only a few days before it expires? A lot of my time is spent gigging in San Francisco, so hopping back to the Central Valley or spending the same amount or more to got to one on the Peninsula and return is also unacceptable. Again, Google Photos link available on request, as this system isn't allowing links.
I am not my show. My record of how events transpired is the DHFshow.

Read morePrior to the pandemic and associated challenges, El Pollo Loco was an outstanding choice for lunch or dinner in Lodi.
Recent visits have been disappointing.
In my view, there have been negative trends in their product quality, which impact the perception of overall value.
Service and cleanliness remain above average.
In two recent visits, where I ordered a 3 piece chicken combo, my plate included the smallest legs and thighs I have ever seen. In addition, the thighs included a large percentage of "backbones" and were moderately dry and over cooked. My guess is that the product quality suffers more due to reduced lunchtime demand and difficulties producing hot food within a reasonable amount of time.
El Pollo Loco has always been my families goto for healthy, tasty chicken. But, with Raising Caines a mile west and the experiences mentioned, EPL has become a distant second choice for us. I hope they can find a road back...
Read moreThis is one of the places we like to stop at and have some not-so-fast-food, healthier and very affordable food. The chicken, which is the star of this place, is always flavorful and they give us the right amount of chicken in every order, specifically at this location. We've had bad experiences at other locations but this one, most of the time gets it right. As a family of 5 we love to get the family meals and they're always the perfect amount for us, we also love their Nachos. What I also like about this place is that if you're on a diet, you find tasty healthy options on the menu to choose from. About the staff here, sometimes we get the friendly crew, other times not so friendly, but at least we haven't had a bad experience...
