My Mom and I just came from the Lodi IHOP / IHOB Kettlemen Ln. Lodi, Calif. The food was great the Service below average, I had to ask for 2nds on the " all you can eat fries ", never asked if we wanted anything else. But, the Main Disappointment was The Classic Burger was $6.99 with all you can eat fries ( If you can get Any Service? ) and A Drink INCLUDED ! ! We got the bill, paid it then realized IHOP IHOB Workers Or Their Computer Charged us $2.89 PTax $3.06 ! I told the Workers this is not acceptable she said We will make it right, I said what about All the Customers who don't catch it or are too far away to drive back for Their OVERCHARGE. I said I wanted to talk to the Manager and was told the number is on the receipt. I then walked to 2 tables and told both parties that I had encouraged to try their New Hamburger Special that they had better check and make sure they are not charged $3.o.o for a drink that is Suppose to be Included! ! I felt since I encouraged both tables to try the Burger Special that it Was My Responsibility to give them a head's up on the "Free " Extra Charge of $3.o6 ! ! Needless to say Very Disappointing IHOP / IHOB Experience ! ! Did I mention that we waited SO0o Long for the Bill that we walked up to the counter to pay without the bill in our hands!? Then the other lady worker was suppose to give me 6 cents and gave me .2 cents then a nickle and a penny = .6 cents. Ps. I got the 2nds on the fries cause I stood up and asked if I could have them ! ? ? Not Good Public Relations IHOP / IHOB . Would I think twice before Returning ? NO! I don't plan on Returning to this Lodi, Calif. Kettlemen Ln. IHOP/ IHOB REST?-rurant. ...
Read moreHad breakfast here today and I have to say it’s the worst experience in a restaurant I’ve had in a long time. From start to finish it was bad. My boyfriend has the Classic chicken sandwich that was supposed to have crispy chicken breast on it. It came out with two over cooked chicken strips on it. No bacon. It had taco cheese on it. The roll was old, dry and flaky. Not grilled at all. I got pancakes. The first order came out crunchy and cold. So I sent them back. Not even one minute later she brought me another plate and they were the same. They must not cook them to order. You are IHOP and you can’t even get a basic pancake right and fresh??? Our server was fine. She wasn’t pleasant but she wasn’t rude. Just doing the bare minimum. I had two bites of my food and pushed it aside. She dropped the check and wasn’t at all concerned that I didn’t eat any of my food. We take the check up to the front. The gal said nothing to me and I mean no words at all. She took my credit card and walked away back to the kitchen and never came back. A while later our server came up with my card and a receipt. Seriously the most bizarre experience I’ve had in a while. We will never be back. The food isn’t cheap. There are better places in Lodi to have breakfast for the same price. We will stick to those. If it wasn’t so busy I would have asked for the manager. I get the feeling that would have amounted to nothing though. I don’t recommend this...
Read moreMy wife and I live in Lodi and we have been patrons of this particular International House of Pancakes for 17+ years. We dine here at least once a month, so if you do the math, this review is based on more than 200 visits!
5 stars here is warranted based on comparison to other IHOPs and breakfast joints like Denny's.
This restraunt gets you in quick. Sometimes there can be a little wait, if it is peak breakfast/lunch time on a holiday weekend.
The staff has always been on top of things, rarely is an order not 100% as ordered, but on the times that they have had a missed detail, the error is taken care of quickly.
Food: Food gets to your table in good time. We have never had that moment where you start to wonder where your food is. If there is a delay in the kitchen, the wait staff let's you know. Food is Good, and as one expects, however they(like all IHOPs) have cut down the portion of hash browns to a more calorie measurable size. Special orders are no problem, like extra crispy bacon, eggs over hard, or egg whites only type orders. They no longer serve Egg Beaters.
Coffee is UNLIMITED, and better than the other breakfast places. Soda, Tea and water are refilled often. Free refills of course.
Hours are good but we really wish they were 24/7.
Folks Tip your wait staff. They share with the bus help, and could use your appreciation in a way that matters, as well as your thank yous...
