My buddy and I stopped by Pi Bar in Woodbridge for brunch, and it was an absolute gem of an experience! We opted to sit at the bar, and let me tell you, the two bartenders running the show were phenomenal. They were quick, attentive, and kept our bottomless mimosas filled without missing a beat—true pros who made the vibe fun and welcoming. I ordered the brunch omelette, which was spot-on: perfectly cooked, flavorful, and just the right portion size—not too heavy but plenty satisfying. My buddy went for the chicken and waffles, and he couldn’t stop raving about it. The chicken was crispy, the waffles were fluffy, and the combo was a savory-sweet home run. The bartenders deserve another shoutout—they were engaging, efficient, and made us feel right at home. The place itself was spotlessly clean, with a modern, upscale vibe that felt like it could easily belong in a trendy downtown San Diego spot. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, perfect for a brunch hangout. Overall, Pie Bar exceeded expectations with great food, top-notch service, and a fantastic ambiance. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend checking it out for a brunch that hits all the right spots. Update; Pi Bar Review Update Pi Bar in Woodbridge is still serving up brunch perfection, and our latest visit only solidified its status as a must-visit spot! My buddy and I slid into our usual bar seats, and who was there to elevate the entire experience? The one and only Kevin, the bartender extraordinaire who deserves a standing ovation. Kevin’s energy is unmatched—his lightning-fast service, razor-sharp wit, and genuine warmth make every visit feel like a VIP event. He kept our bottomless mimosas brimming without a hitch, all while tossing out spot-on drink recommendations, like the new seasonal mango-ginger spritz that was an absolute game-changer. If his boss is reading this, Kevin’s not just running the bar—he’s the heart and soul of Pi Bar’s vibe, and the man deserves a raise for making every guest feel like royalty. The food? Still phenomenal. I went for the new avocado toast with a perfectly poached egg, and it was a masterclass in flavor—fresh, zesty, and plated like a work of art. My buddy stuck with his go-to chicken and waffles, declaring it the gold standard for brunch deliciousness with its crispy, juicy chicken and cloud-like waffles. The place itself remains a stunner—sleek, spotless, and radiating that upscale, modern charm that could rival any trendy downtown spot. The atmosphere hums with energy, yet stays relaxed, thanks to his knack for making everyone feel at home. Pi Bar’s food and vibe are top-tier, but Kevin’s world-class hospitality is what keeps us coming back. Here’s to hoping his boss sees this and rewards the guy who’s clearly carrying the team!

If you’re looking for the perfect place to channel your inner holiday elf and drink spiked eggnog like it’s a competitive sport, then The Cozy Ember is the Christmas wonderland you’ve been dreaming of. From the second I walked in, I was greeted by a festive atmosphere that made me question whether I’d stumbled into Santa’s North Pole after-party. First, let’s talk about the fire pits. Picture this: crackling flames, warm drinks, and the kind of ambiance that makes you feel like you’re in an exclusive VIP lounge for holiday cheer. I half-expected a reindeer to trot by with a sleigh full of cocktails. The fire pits weren’t just for warmth; they were the heartbeat of the night, providing just the right mix of cozy vibes and perfect Instagram moments. Now, onto the real game-changer—those lounge chairs and couches. The kind of plush seating that makes you think, “Wow, I could happily take a nap here after four rounds of holiday cocktails.” It was like the restaurant’s furniture was designed by elves specifically to cradle your body in festive comfort. The Christmas party itself? Chef’s kiss. Between the merry staff in their holiday cheer, the amazing assortment of food, and the spiked holiday drinks that made me question why I don’t drink them year-round, this place had everything you want in a holiday bash. If you want an unforgettable Christmas experience that combines great drinks, a laid-back but lively atmosphere, and a winter wonderland that you won’t want to leave, get yourself to the Pi Bar. Honestly, it was so perfect, I might start planning my holiday parties for next year… like now.

The food looked great fried chips 2 eggs And steak 🥩. This is my first time eating here and it really ruined my meal. The steak was overcooked. You weren’t given the option on how to have it prepared that and the eggs were not asked how to be done, which is not the end of the world and I can get over that really fast but we got me as the sauce they use for the chili Achilles. It tasted like it was salsa out of a jar and just pour on the chips the flavor I could not even finish it all. I had the steak cooked to medium rare which I did. I would still try this restaurant, but just never try to chill Achilles again my advice for them is make your sauces from scratch And taste it before you serve it. I know every family has different recipes and this may be theirs, not sure, but for $26 it has to be better than what you eat at home. Inside and outside is beautiful, great decor a place you would definitely bring a date or your family. I look forward to trying more things and having a better result.

We recently visited Pi Bar for the third time, hoping to support this new establishment in our community. Unfortunately, my experience this time was disappointing and highlighted ongoing issues with service.

On previous visits, the service was lacking and extremely slow, but we decided to give it another chance. Upon arrival today, we were promptly seated, but after 15 minutes with no greeting from our waitress, we began to feel overlooked. When we were finally attended to, the waitress was friendly, and our food came out in a reasonable timeframe.

However, a major issue arose when a fly landed in my boyfriend's espresso martini. While the waitress handled this situation well by replacing the drink, she failed to inform us that the replacement would come with a charge. If we had known, we would have opted out of the third drink altogether.

To make matters worse, when we expressed our concerns, we were met with indifference. The owner stated that it wasn’t the restaurant's fault that a fly landed in the drink, and despite our request to speak with him directly, he was too busy to address our concerns, choosing instead to remain seated at a nearby table.

This lack of engagement and professionalism from the owner is troubling, especially for a new restaurant trying to establish a good reputation. We left feeling unheard and dissatisfied, ultimately deciding not to return. Supporting local businesses is important to us, but it's hard to do so when the management shows such little regard for customer experience.

In summary:

We were not informed about the charge for the replacement drink. The owner's refusal to engage with a dissatisfied customer was disappointing and unprofessional. We genuinely hope Pi Bar can improve its service, as the community...

If I could give this place negative stars, I absolutely would. I’ve tried multiple pizzas here hoping they’d improve, but every single one has been greasy and soggy. I really wanted to like Pibar because the atmosphere isn’t bad — but this last visit was the final straw.

We came specifically to watch the Dodgers vs. Blue Jays World Series game. They were showing the game on all their TVs, clearly promoting it to bring people in. We sat in the back room where there was a TV, but the staff refused to turn up the volume because one person at another table didn’t want it louder, even though others did. Annoying, but fine — we let it go.

Then things got worse. A family friend had been waiting for over an hour for a table, and even after more of their group arrived, they were never seated or called. Since our table for two could easily fit six to eight people, we invited them to join us. Just as we were finally enjoying the game, a manager came over and told us our “two-hour reservation” was almost up — even though we’d just gotten our food about 30 minutes earlier. The rest of our group had barely sat down and gotten drinks, and they weren’t even allowed to order food.

Apparently, this two-hour limit is mentioned in fine print at the very bottom of their menu — practically invisible. We were repeatedly asked to leave and ended up walking out in the 8th inning after arriving in the 2nd. World Series games last longer than two hours; any place that promotes itself as a game-day spot should know that.

Between the disappointing food, frustrating service, and poor management decisions, I won’t be coming...
