Beware this area of lodi is definitely not recommended and here's why

This area of Lodi is infested with police officers waiting and ready to give a bad time to all visitors

To make my experience short with the Lodi ridiculous PD I was trying to go on sunday 07/08/19 to this "popular lake in the city of lodi". (Again warning this Lodi Area is infested with police cars/officers if you can call them like that! all hungry for tickets)

While I was driving to the area I entered a line to turn left on W turner rd and N Mills ave, it all indicates that the city of lodi intentionally misplaced a tiny light for turning left behind the main light for this specific intersection so new drivers to the area like me wont notice it. So I assumed it was a yield left turn on green

While I was focusing on the green from the main traffic light and upcoming traffic from the other direction to make a yield left turn I was unable to noticed that misplaced tiny safe turning light behind it because again is almost hidden to your eyes if you dont know the area. So as soon as the road was clear I proceeded to turned left.

To make my unfortunate story short... a female officer that was probably waiting around for drivers to get into the trap like myself pulled me over.

I was trying to explain her that I didnt see the light to turn left but she kept ignoring me and just gave me a ticket for running a red arrow light, while the female officer was writing the ticket, another officer arrived to watch us like we were criminals a method of intimidation! are you kidding me? This PD is so unfair and ridiculously unprofessional! these officers doesnt care about citizens or visitors safety they all care is reaching their daily quotas!!!!!

Now thanks to this negligent female officer I have to pay an outrageous $500 ticket for an honest mistake that in fact was provoked by the city of lodi for failing to crearly mark and show a signal to make a safe left turn

So as you could imagine this incident ruined my family day at this unworthy lake which we didnt even visited at the end and decided to go back home

Something is for sure...When is about collecting/ripping money from drivers and citizens this PD and the SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY are definitely the best, but when is about protecting the innocent I bet you they're always the last to arrived

Shame on you Lodi Police Department, City of Lodi and SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY!! For ripping drivers with those outrageous and...

A beautiful lake connected to a river right in the middle of the central valley. Nature preserved. Not a lot of people even on the weekends. So many great picnic spots for big and small groups. Or you can just chill will your own private picnic spot. Plenty of huge trees with all around shades. Grass areas all around. You can canoe, kayak, jet ski, motor boats, swim, paddle boards. So much to do for the entire family. Pet friendly. The only downside is restrooms are not working and they only have portable toilets....

Great for boating and jet skying, terrible for fishing. This place is in need of buoys and/or designated fishing areas to keep boats from cutting lines and catching fishing poles as they cut 5 to 10 feet from the shore in front of people fishing. At least the guy that caught my fishing pole, ripping it out of my hands with his wave runner, was kind enough to search and retrieve my fishing pole for me. Hopefully, the line burns on my hands heal in a...

One of the highlights of the Lodi area. I have been coming here since I was a little kid. It’s the perfect place to watch the sunset, go swimming in the summer and watch the 4th of July fireworks. You don’t even have to pay for parking…you can always park on the street and just walk right in. I wish there were more places like this these days, beautiful spots that are good for the whole family.
