I really had some high expectations going here with my husband for lunch. We are huge bbq eaters and have gone many places to eat but this was not the experience we were hoping for. With some really convincing reviews we were sure we were going to have a tasty experience! Sadly this was not the case. The customer service was good. We were seated right away and asked for drinks. The wait time was a little longer than I expected but to me that just meant their were working on our food and that it was not just sitting there waiting. We ordered the 4 meat combo and a cob salad . When the waitress took our order she asked if we wanted our ribs dry or wet. We said dry as we could put as much sauce as we wanted ourselves (doing this will really let you know how good ribs are instead of being covered up with sauce). We got ribs, tri tip brisket and chicken. You can get white or dark chicken. This was different as we are used to getting half a chicken white and dark meat together. The ribs were so small and dry! I think they gave us the ends. Tri tip was good. Chicken looked super dry but it was not. It wasnt really moist either. Brisket was grey and dry. No juice at all. Mac n cheese were watery and the corn bread was ok. The salad was good but the pictures in the reviews are misleading. It looks huge in the pictures but is not. For $18 thats a bit much. I will not be...
Read moreThis place was pretty good. From the environment to the service to the food I would give it an over all 8. Our server Drew was very informative and knew his menu. Very helpful. We ordered the 4 meat plate that comes with choices of meat we chose double tri-tip, 3 ribs, brisket, one corn bread and 1 side of choice (we picked their Mac and Cheese with sausage). It's about $32 for that plate. We shared it among 4 of us (2 adults & 2 children) we also ordered an extra rib plate 4 piece that came with 1 side we chose French fries, best fries ever by the way. That plate was about $18. I have to say the ribs, Mac and fries were our favorites of the food we ordered today. Definitely want to go back and try their sandwiches and other menu items. They have a ton of options to choose from. I'm sure there will be something to eat for someone. They also make their own home made sauces and ranch as well. We sat outside which was nice and they have heaters outside as well for cooler days. I also brought my fur baby and they didn't even question him there. Anyways, you gotta try it here....
Read moreIf you haven’t tried the loaded baked potato at Tin Roof Barbecue, you’re seriously missing out. This thing is a full meal and then some! I ordered mine with tri-tip, chili, and pulled pork—and let me tell you, every bite was packed with flavor. The tri-tip was tender and smoky, the chili had just the right amount of kick, and the pulled pork was melt-in-your-mouth good. All of it piled high on a perfectly baked potato, with all the classic fixings to tie it together. It’s rich, hearty, and hits every craving at once. You can tell Tin Roof puts real care into their barbecue. The flavors are bold but balanced, and the portions are generous. It’s the kind of meal that leaves you full, happy, and already planning your next visit. Highly recommend for anyone who loves real, Southern-style comfort...
