This place looks like a definite locals hang out. I thought that was cool. Everyone seeming like they knew each other. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. So nice you could picture working there and having fun, chatting up the locals and looking forward to the camaraderie each day.🙂

Now, I've only had the one sandwich so I can't say how the rest of the menu is.....but the locals weren't complaining.😉 Anyway I liked my sandwich. It was like a cross between a Philly cheese steak and a French dip. Yummy. Fries we're perfectly crisp on the outside tender on the inside. Also the salad bar, tho small, looks fresh with plenty of toppings to choose from.

From Missoula it's a bit of a drive but from Lolo Florence and Stevensville it seems fine. I'll definitely try few more things on the menu when I'm in town. If for nothing else, it would be nice to join the others and feel like...

Waited over an hour for food that never came. Watched people get their food who placed orders After us (even though one of us ordered the same as they did-the "special"), but all that could've been overlooked if our waitress would have just owned the responsibility. Instead of saying "we are really busy"- uh, when we walked in/placed our order you were. There are only a few tables left with people, so miss me with That weak excuse. If you're going to lie....at least make it believable.

Although, there is one waitress with glasses & long hair that works there-she stepped up to the plate, asked us if we were told there was a slight delay with orders (told her no, but appreciate that someone let us know) & she also checked on us a little later to see if we needed refills (yes & thank you). Just makes me wonder how many other tables she covered for the waitress we...

I have eaten at this restaurant twice. First, you will find that the parking lot is quite large. Once inside, you will soon realize that there isn't anything very new or incredibly fancy about the furnishings. But, right off the bat, you are going to be greeted by a very smiling and hospitable staff. You get to choose your own seats. They have two areas in which eat - the main dining area and and a similarly sized room in the back. Lots of fun wall art back there. The menu is of decent size. The food is well prepared and came out fairly quickly. They even had a salad bar buffet (that surprised me). I tried the All You Can Eat option with a bowl of soup. It was tasty. I thought the meal prices were very affordable. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed eating at this restaurant. Very good tasting comfort food at pleasantly competitive prices....

It’s tough to find a good breakfast place in Missoula. So we decided to drive to Stevensville and try the Frontier Cafe. So glad we did. First off our server, Tasha, was great. And we loved the dog-friendly patio. Breakfast was very good with thin, flavorful pancakes and good hash browns. We also enjoyed a delicious slice of warmed cherry pie ala mode. Ok, you may say it’s crazy to have pie with breakfast, but life is short. The crust was perfect and the ice cream was rich and creamy. We can’t wait to return.

My daughter and I ate here and OMG!!!! My daughter ordered the Steak and Shrimp Combo and I had the Fried Chicken. The steak was done (well done) and JUICY. My daughter cut into it and the juices just ran. It was soooo good. The fried chicken was just as good. It was tender and juicy as well and I HIGHLY recommend Frontier Cafe over CJ's Den any day. The service is 100 times better and the food is exceptional.
