Sadly I tried patronizing a local store but should have gone elsewhere. I purchased a sliding glass door from WBC where they told me that they themselves did not install the merchandise but had someone who could. We agreed on a day which I took off of work so that I could supervise . Unfortunately, the window was miss-ordered so the date had to be moved and the install occurred without my supervision. Included in this job was the replacement of trim and re installation of a sliding screen. When I returned home, all the contractors supplies were left, nails were strewn around the deck, the trim was not matched to the paint on the house, the screen door was still lying on the deck and the old windows were propped against the house. WBC called for me to come in and pay, however. As I was paying I mentioned to the WBC staff that the contractor had not cleaned up his mess or taken the windows. I normally would have withheld payment until these services were completed but the staff assured me it would be handled and wanted payment. Two weeks later the windows had not moved. I returned to the store to be told that they would see to it which they never did. No phone calls, no explanation. I had to pay to have the doors removed and I had to repaint my trim and clean up the mess left. Worst customer service I have ever seen. Just had a new house built. 3 MAIN doors and they were to install all 3. 100% failure rate. Front door warped and would barely close. Sent a new door. Better but still warped. I gave up. It's good enough I guess. Back patio door. Screen door wouldn't close at all. Replaced and I can close it on a warm day. If its cold...good luck. They will not respond. Back garage door. It rained I had a puddle in my garage. Apparently it was my fault. Came and adjusted. It is good now...I think...no rain. Missing finishing tabs as well. I was waited on quickly, I was given choices for what I was looking for with prices and full descriptions about each item. The prices were competitive and the items were carried to my car without asking. It was a great experience. The employees were friendly, helpful and carried out their jobs efficiently. I felt like I was an important customer even though what I needed were not large items. ...
