A must try restaurant! Reviewed on 02/14/25 #Introduction- This is a Punjabi-Indian restaurant. Just started this family business 3 months back. They serve common & popular Indian dishes alongside some authentic Punjabi dishes. As an Indian Asian, this is a top class restaurant for me. #Quality & experience- The food quality is of course excellent, the taste of the dishes are extremely flavorful. The person who took our order and the servers are awesome. If you don't know anything about the dishes or have a specific desire for a dish or taste, take their help. They'll guide you to enjoy your meal satisfaction. If you want to try out Punjabi based Indian food or a first timer for Punjabi food, this is your restaurant. For other regular & popular Indian dishes, this is me & my family member’s new best favourite restaurant. The restaurant area is clean & tidy. Have seperate restroom for men & ladies. They are well kept & cleen. Have plenty of sitting area for small to very large groups. #Menu & price- They have long & diverse menu items! Not typical simple Indian menus. Both veg & non-veg items. So, you might not be able to know the dish from the name, how it is prepared, what is/are in it & the process time of the dish. If you have a big appetite, then 1 order is more than enough. The "Thali" is more than enough to fill-up an adult tummy. Their serving portion is the same like other Indian restaurants. ✴️Their "Lamb Chop" is a must must & must try.. For me their price is everage. Not too costly nor less compared to the food & quality & experience we have enjoyed. #Business hours- Monday they are closed for the whole day. Their regular business hours are from 11 am to 9:30 pm. on Tuesday to Sunday. From 11 am to 10:30 pm. on Friday & Saturday. But, like most Indian restaurants, they stay closed everyday from 3pm to 5pm. #Location- Located in a nice and quiet part of Loma Linda city. close to the I-10 freeway. In a very beautiful area. It has a nice view of the green beautiful Loma Linda area. Inside the restaurant we felt very comfortable & the vibe was cozy. Has a lot of free parking & is wheelchair accessible.

It was a second visit for my husband and I, as we were both craving Indian for our dinner date last night—there aren’t too many gourmet Indian yet especially authentically & richly-flavored, high quality Indian restaurants in this area, but we remembered the how the food was good the first time. So we returned, all dolled up for our dinner date. The dishes we had were daal makthni, paneer tikka masala, & vegetarian dum biryani w/ butter naan. There were plenty of food and flavors to be shared between the 2 of us. In fact, we even took home some left overs which I am so excited to get to! 🤭😆 I’ve been to India before, and sometimes I miss the authentic flavors because for some reason a lot of the restaurants tend to taste a bit muted out—maybe to cater the general American audience. But Beyond Biryani literally served. It was so delicious that I nearly forgot we were on a dinner date! All the spices and herbs blend so beautifully well where it doesn’t overwhelm you to repulsion. Their service was also important part where they came just appropriately to check on your needs for water refills. The hall is pretty large and spacious, and it does accommodate both large groups to a small table for 2 like us. While they had enough people fill the hall, the noise level also wasn’t so high or echoey that I was able to talk comfortably with my husband and hear him across the table without the sound of the background music or other people’s chatter interrupting our private meal convos. Anyway, this is probably the one and very few reviews I’m leaving this length, with 5 stars bc I highly recommend! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

If you’re in the Redlands or Loma Linda area and haven’t been to Beyond Biryani, you’re seriously missing out! I had the pleasure of stopping by with a friend, and it was an experience worth raving about. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, with a cozy yet vibrant vibe that made us feel right at home. The service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about their food. Now, let’s talk about the real star: the food. Every bite was packed with flavor, made with fresh ingredients, and perfectly crafted. Whether you’re in the mood for something hearty or a light bite, there’s something on the menu for everyone. I won’t spoil all the details, but let’s just say their signature dish is an absolute must-try! To all the locals in Redlands and Loma Linda—don’t sleep on this spot! Whether you’re catching up with friends, grabbing a quick bite, or looking for your next favorite eatery, A Delicious Spotty Visit is a place you won’t regret checking out. Highly recommended!

I’ve been there four times now with different friends. Each time the food was excellent and we have ordered different things. Zero complaint about the food. In fact, portion sizes are huge and price is appropriate for the amount. The concern is for service. It’s utter chaos. The first day I feel was better despite being a lot of people in line. They had a pre-set menu, we ordered and paid, and then found a seat, ate, left. I think that should be their standard.

The three times after that were not ideal. Examples: we had five different people (including what appeared to be the owners) serve us at different points, in turn creating confusion. They kept confusing and contradicting each other multiple times (bringing in orders that weren’t ours or forgetting our order until an hour later), had multiple different people come in to take order, then ask if we put in our order, repeat, etc. We could see the other tables having the same issue. This last time, we were there for two hours (very slow service) and not once anyone told us we need to pay up front. Eventually, we went up and they said oh our machine doesn’t let us print the bill you have to come up here to pay. Ok, understandable, but why not tell us that in the two hours we were there? During this time we kept looking for anyone we could flag down to ask, but the place was empty. What they need is to hire someone with actual restaurant management experience or at least a consultant. They need a dedicate host who only stays up front (not also serve, clean, etc). They need their servers to have dedicated tables so they only stick to a few at a time and not multiple people coming up and asking to take your order or no one coming up to take your order for 30 plus minutes. Having everyone do everything for the sake of pitching in is not sustainable. Really excellent food, but they really need to hire a consultant for basic management to ensure long-term success.

Update: I’m updating my review after a recent visit again. The food, as usual remains perfect. In fact, it only gets more and more delicious each time I visit. I also want to acknowledge the owner’s response on my review and making changes. Service was exceptional this time! They did in fact have folks dedicated to each section, which made the process...
